Bioshock is on sale for £25 in HMV, def in brum, don't know about elsewhere - absolute steal though for one of the most acclaimed games of the last year.

Mr LewieP, any good deals on Warhawk with Bluetooth Mic? I'm trying to convince a friend to buy it, saying the bluetooth headset will be handy for not just the game but his car too. I can find it cheap-ish (£32 I think) on play.com but being it's £20 online + probably £10 for a bluetooth headset it's not -that- good of a deal!

I want to make the new thread. Please let me make the new thread LewieP. It'll be all humorous and stuff! I know that other guy, Lave, wants to do it, but I heard he liked to touch little boys in their special places so you shouldn't let him do it.

Please go ahead on my behalf Centipeed, I've not enough internets to make a nice new OP, piggy backing on random wifi connections as you travel about does not an internet make.

    And you make splendid threads.

Ha! Where does that compliment stem from? I can't think of any big ones I've made in recent times.

I just remember you making a "weekend play thread" which I thought was great - not that I was able to play.

What a coincidence, I'm going to Dublin for a mates birthday this weekend too!

Gamestation in Northampton have like 3-4 new (Sealed) Bioshock Special Editions. That's the one with the Big Daddy figure. They're in the sale for £37.98.

For anyone without Crackdown, it's now £10 pre-owned in nearly all Game stores (They still seem to have a large stock from when people bought the game just purely for the Halo 3 beta). Buy it and play with me.

That's awesome, it's for a friend anyway so I'll pass on your link. He'd prefer something solid over a downloadable game anyway. Maybe now I can convince him to get online so I can kick his arse!

By the way. I am 3 posts away from my 1,000th post on SavyGamer, seems quite apt that this thread is nearing 100 pages too.

My lady and me wants a Wii. Anywhere out there that sells the 'core' system? No bundles in other words. We know about Argos, but the filthy Commies have nothing in stock. Anywhere else to hunt? Preferably in a store, online will be a second resort.

If you can stomach getting it online, keep this open on the stock checker:

    http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk/

and wait for an amazon order to come in. They sell the base system. It's how I got hold of one before xmas for a friend.

Other than that, bundle-less stores are:

    Tesco
    Asda
    John Lewis
    HMV (sometimes)
    Amazon

Just got an email from shopto and I thought this was a bit of a deal:

    http://www.shopto.net/page.php?page=dettagli&codart=PS3TH00

£37.99 for Eye of Judgement + Camera + Mat + Stand. Although you may have posted it cheaper elsewhere :)

Every once in a while, Lewie, I wonder why you don't move savygamer.blogspot.com over to savvygamer.blogspot.com and have a message on the first pointing to the second. So, the opposite to how you have it now. Savvygamer is a better name, and it's the name you meant to have originally anyway.

Also: I've got dibs on making the new thread, but I'm travelling back up to Cardiff tomorrow and I might not be able to get round to it until the evening, so try and slow down your postings until the new thread gets made, please? I don't want this one to be locked and then have there be no new one for a couple of hours, or even worse, have someone else think "Well, I might as well make it".

EDIT: New thread is up: Here.
