Final standing was 3-2 for the tourney, losing to the eventual winner running dark eldar (three models short of tabling him for a max win) and against a list with triple crusaders gulliman and guardsmen who went first and then had the one knight I killed get back up with the strategem. I managed to clear out his knights and important models, but because the even was maelstrom cards scored zero points because the cards weren’t possible (hold the line, advance, and blood and guts turn one for example...).
Otherwise really happy with my list, broadsides with missiles are amazing. The dark eldar list he managed to go first and get skyweavers on them turn one, which considering how close it was to tabling saved the game for him.

That set's from 1999 and really just confirms that holy shit the Craftworlders need to get some updated models. I think it's only the standard jetbikes that have changed since then?

Local game shop is having a sale this weekend. The sale price plus a bit of generosity on the part of the owner has me the proud owner of a Death Masque set for $200 Canadian.
I'm actually excited to try and paint harlequin checker patterns. Those and the deathwatch will be a nice change after painting Tyranids for the last month.

Yeah, Dark Eldar have some heinously undercosted shit right now (and I say that as a DE player). The problem they're going to have as an army when it comes to nerfs and buffs - and why I'm feeling very cautious about Chapter Approved - is that the army has so few moving parts. Each of their sub-factions really only has 3 or 4 units that they can actually make workable detachments with right now, and it just so happens that many of those units are currently really strong for their price (e.g. - Ravagers, Grotesques, Talos, very arguably Kabalites).
If those get tweaked too much the army as a whole kind of falls apart. You're not going to have stuff like Ur-ghuls or Khymerae replacing them, both because they're not good and because they literally don't fill detachment slots.

It has 8 Jetbikes one Shrieker Jetbike 2 vipers a old FIre prism kit with the old metal parts

Last year I either got via a either a wedding fire sale or a divorce I don't know as he literally answered the door like a drug deal asked what I was there for I handed him the cash $150 for both! and was passed the two boxes without another word
Just I know what my brother has is a Biel Tan swordwind force I know it's not the battleforce posted earlier as I remember the siam hann was in Europe the Biel Tan was in NA because people on either side of the ocean were upset the other got the other force
I feel they were teasers I am getting the book because it has the Wild rider host rules

Base lord with a backpack is 93 pts/6 PL with no weapons.
Throw on a lightning claw and a plasma pistol you get 108 points.
Closest characters are Lucius and Cypher which are both 6 pl. 115 and 110 points for them, respectively.
So I figure he is close to Lucius who is overpriced for 115 points as he only has a 5++ compared to the rest with a 4++.

What chaps my ass a little is that GW threw a C&D at the excellent free web based list builder at the beginning of 8th edition. Then they take a year and release a sub par replacement. I don't know why they didn't just work something out to make that one legit. There's always Battlescribe I guess.
I'm building a Valkyrie for the first time. I think I'm going to skip the door gunners entirely because man, that is one finicky looking assembly. I'm planning on magnetizing all of the weapons anyway, I can probably find someplace on the hull to mount a couple of heavy bolters.
When using battlescribe, what setting to I change to get rid of all the repeated units (as highlighted below)... they add pages to my list when I print them

With the punisher cannons the problem is I got this during the waning of my interest in 40k and soon after my father died so it got put away half finished {there was a lot of flashing and a block of resin I had to saw off and sand }

Are Interceptors good? I kind of want more, I have 3 from the Dark Imperium box so they only came with the bolt option, not plasma.

That's not very good right now (the Drukhari detachment alone would have to be kind of a clusterfuck), but if the Dark Eldar get specialist detachments in future then they'll be able to pull off some serious Herohammer shenanigans.

There might be a few mistakes in there. Dire Avengers for example have access to sniper specialists in the app instead of combat like in the rulebook.
Point costs for stub carbine/power sword for Sicarian Infiltrators is also off
UR-025 is a normal squad member! For 30 points you get a T5 W4 SV3+ model with power fist and mk1 assault cannon! He also repairs 1W every turn!
