    They also made Prey

    The first one

    Prey 1 has one of the coolest game openings ever, and was not as bad as people like to make it out to be.

    Prey 1 has a gatdang incredible opening. It's up there with, like, BioShock in my personal rankings.

    Yeah. The one thing about it that actually bothers me is the native angle with the spirit walk and your sage old magical native uncle or whatever. That wasn't the best. But I even enjoyed the portal stuff and the level design around it, it was mindbendy for its time, even if Portal of course knocked that out of the park a year later

    The spirit animal shit can fuck off, but they put a rez bar in a video game. I will forgive the game a ton for that.

    When Fortnite was first coming out it was just a horde mode with a building element. Hence "Fort".

    Then they jumped on the Battle Royale Bandwagon as fast as they possibly could and it worked out SUPER WELL for them.

    The story of Fortnite is the most hilariously opportunistic shit

    The game they had been working on for years and years came out and no one gave even half a shit, and then they slapped a battle royale mode into it just as PUBG was hitting it big and Fortnite became a cultural phenomenon

    If it hadn't worked, it would have felt downright pathetic
