honestly that is a really good ground team, conceptually. got your vampires covered, got yer fascists covered, got yer ninjoos covered, got yer general weirdy shit covered.
Im happy for you all but Im a bit disappointed. Ive been desperate for an Avengers game that was either a spec-ops style strategy game or an asymmetrical action game in which each avenger has a custom control style.
It appears I will continue to have to wait for an Avengers game in any other style.

Theoretically, Crystal Dynamic is still making an Avengers game of some sort
In the meanwhile, I was literally just yesterday talking about how much I missed playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance

Sounds like Marvel just announced Vader: Dark Visions, which is definitely not Shadow of Vader
It's apparently going to be a limited anthology series about Vader and how he's viewed differently by people around the galaxy
You can tell it's not Shadow of Vader, because it's called Vader: Dark Visions you see
Because oh man if it does my wife and I are gonna buy this game for our nephews and play co-op online woth them and my sister might actually explode (not a bad thing, it just literally blew her mind at thanksgiving when me and her oldest had a quite fluent conversation about video games).

Now imagine what they could do with a /secret wars/ rehash

i can't say i really ever thought much about the overarching story of legends/UA beyond "which characters are playable, which are bosses, where we goin'"

Avengers Forever was right there

I really love y'all, and I really love the Avengers movies, but the hot takes and sniping and all is exhausting.

What the hell was the point of hiding that title for this long and making such a big deal about it?
I think they said they immediately regretted making it a big secret because it was b uilding up to something that could not deliver on hype

I don't necessarily know that they hid the title and made a big deal about it so much as people started speculating about the title immediately and they just weren't ready to do a reveal yet?
Like them going "You're not going to guess it" was in reference to people asking them about it, IIRC.
Like even if it's not a big deal, if they have a specific marketing rollout they can't just go "Oh yeah, the title is this, whatever"

I mean, generally with the other movies when they were announced the title came with it.
This is the first one to have a release date -hell, to be within months of a release- and us not know the title.

This is the first piece of actual marketing for this movie though
Like literally has this movie actually been "announced" prior to this point?

Also funny because Endgame was probably one of the most popular guesses after Infinity War came out.

It's $20 a year/$3 a month.
UA2 was a Civil War rehash and it was awesome
