So much of that list of nominations is for boring, over-dramatic, over-produced blegh stuff so give all awards to Mrs. Maisel.
Nothing. Matters.

The Alienist was on my list of things that I'd definitely watch when it came out back before it came out

I watched the Alienist. It was okay. Interesting seeing a Victorian period historical show not set in the UK.
I want to watch Glow and The Deuce and Atlanta but I would have to spend rather a lot of money to do so, so I will wait until they are available in multi-season boxsets and buy them to keep then.
yeah I guess that comes with qualifiers. I got a reasonably cheap netflix sub at some point which between Maisel, Patriot, GBBO, and Glow has pretty much paid for itself, let alone the quality BBC stuff.

I didn't watch The Alienist because I'd read it and thought it was a bit 'eh', but now I think about it, it would probably make a better TV show than book.
chuck lorre is a weird dude in that he can create stuff that is pretty decent, but he'd much rather partner up with someone else, slap his name all over it, and collect a fat paycheck for quick laughs
he is basically the poster child for selling out, but i will always have a soft spot for grace under fire
I randomly stumbled across one of those annoying reality car shows called Full Custom Garage but it so far just seems to be a guy building cars in his garage with his dog and the dog just bops around all these engines and... carburetors and stuff and man

If it is more in the line of Stand Alone Complex than the 3 recent GitS movies then I am all about that.
Or at least give the Major back her cool English dub voice from SaC.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
I’m always down for Ghost in the Shell’s Tom Clancy/Matrix mashup bullshit. Now, they need to bring back Patlabor in all its po-faced mecha techothriller glory.
Cast also includes Rupert Grint (Ron in Harry Potter), Andrew Buchan (Broadchurch), Eamon Farren (Twin Peaks: The Return) and Tara Fitzgerald (Game of Thrones)
Dang...I mean it looks to be of high quality but John Malkovich has way too much inherent eerie menace for Poirot, like that is a Poirot you don't turn your back on

I will grudgingly accept Kenneth Branagh but I can’t handle Malkovich.

Has anyone tried The Kominsky Method? The cast seems pretty stacked, but the trailer and the creative team turn me off.
