Unless you play Standard, in which case it does almost nothing. (Unless one of the other guilds' mechanic is a discount; Spectacle only is sometimes.)
It forces Convoke to use at least one land to cast anything, and prevents explosive March of the Multitudes.
Also stops any creature-based ramp into non-creatures, which isn't totally insignificant. Can't cast a planeswalker or whatever ahead of curve off a Llanowar Elves.

Reveler seems like a decent way for Rakdos Burn to reload. The Colossus seems halfway decent in draft; you need at least two gates in play for it to be reasonably priced, but it's easy to build around, and follows the Guild Summit design where it gets value from your gates both before and after it hits.

I honestly think Risk Factor and Sword-Point Diplomacy are just better than Reveler, but I will surely be trying it out.
The flexibility makes it worth a shot at least; it's a split card that can help smooth out early hands (while being a bear) as well as reloading later on.
Plus there's no reason you can't use both Reveler and Risk Factor; they play well together.

Reveler seems okay. Decent option on both "sides" and things with bodies can't be discounted. Rafter Demon is fuckin' terrible. Like, not even in draft playable.

I did say almost nothing, but yes those are specific cases I have overlooked that do help her out.

Her uses in Standard are definitely a bit more limited but I would definitely run a couple copies in my sideboard.
In Vintage she'd be a monster on turn one. No more Forces, Dazes, Moxes, or Lotuses from your opponent is pretty strong.

Plus, she's asymmetrical. Don't give a FUCK about you slinging out Moxes or Force of Wills (which you can use copies of her for because she's also blue!)

New Orzhov mechanic: Afterlife N (When this creature dies, create N 1/1 white and black Spirit creature tokens with flying.)
Hey, it could be create an N/N spirit token rather than N 1/1 spirit tokens! But probably not.
Also, afterlife works well with spectacle. I wonder if Azorius will get a mechanic based around flying, what with Domri Rade's ornithopter thing? Or maybe small bodies. Hmm.
I'm not feeling the spectacle cards that you pay extra for more right now. Feel a bit too win-more for my tastes. I'd rather get a card that I would normally play and then get an occasional tempo turn where it's cheaper.

So I've been playing Arena for the past couple of weeks and having an excellent time. I'm not super well-versed in Magic (i just played one of the Duels of the Planeswalkers games a few years ago) but I netdecked a v fun aggro mono-red deck and it's just been fabulous tbqh. I'm still running a couple of replacements for rares I don't have yet but I hope to get it filled out before too long.

Good to hear you're enjoying the game, @One Thousand Cables! Let us know how your road to completing mono-red goes. Solid deck for best of one ladder, with some fun lines of play.
I've been tuning/blowing wildcards into a Sarpoling/sacrifice deck for a while, and then moved into straight saprolings rush, and noticed after this latest tuning was going really well, it's also a real budget deck atm.
I'm down to 5 rares, 3 of which come in the starter decks. ( Just wish I woulda figured this version out a lot sooner before I blew rare and mythic wildcards on stuff that didn't work! oh well)
Try this out , I am thrashing most decks with it, only real problem is full out multi sweeper decks, but even those aren't a total blowout.

My therapy lady says I should be more social, so last night I went out to Modern night at my LGS with my one paper modern deck (Tron). I only scraped one match win against Phoenix/Thing, lost to Infect and another Phoenix/Thing, but I’d forgotten how fun it could be, “it” being playing paper, playing Modern, and playing Tron. The deck gets a lot of shit slung at it but it’s fun to work out the optimal sequences and how to spend your mana early on, at least for me being out of practice with the format.
I like the Simic Forest and both Azorius ones, but the Orhov Plains feels like it's giving off the wrong mood for some reason.
Kudos to the Rakdos Swamp for not depicting the undercity yet again.
BUT LOOK AT THAT PACK COLOR! The blue guilds look ok on it, obviously, but the rest just look awful, particularly that Rakdos jester.

it'll depend on getting a critical mass of Afterlife creatures with a good rate, but a whole guild of creatures that create tokens when they die might make Divine Visitation more than a janky experiment.
edit: like in terms of board resilience, token-on-death is a different axis from making a huge board a la March of the Multitudes or ETB tokens like Yavimaya Shepherd. Tokens are notoriously easy to boardwipe, but if everyone has build-in wipe protection then it's much easier to confidently go wide.
I really miss extort and was hoping for that keyword to come back.
As much as I agree with the first part, the unbalanced nature of extort in multiplayer games makes it a bit contentious. It's only a 6 on MaRo's Storm Scale and there have been bigger longshots that saw returns, but I was definitely not expecting it to show up for this go-round.
Afterlife is obnoxious (I hate when I have to kill something twice -- or more) but feels fine? It certainly doesn't seem to add any mana to the cost, which is nice.

Is the reason why the card looks so special because that character is going against the will of their guild?
Cause that's neat if so.
It's one of the full-art promos they do for events, in this case the store championship. It'll have a regular version in the set.

PTA+Slimefoot on board makes a saproling rush into a no win situation for your opponent real quick.
Or have some kind of sac outlet and just murder your own saprolings to kill them.
Come on, Orzhov, get Cartel Aristocrat out of retirement.
Ya I'm still working on the sac heavy poison tip version but that wants even more wild to test but I ran out.

I may feel different if I had any extort cards, myself, but alas. To the void with you extort.

There are only like, 5 cards with extort on them and 3 of them aren't that good.
