I was just talking to my friend yesterday that I fucking hate Liam Neeson and I can't really articulate why. Every time I see him I get irrationally angry.
I was never a big fan of the first three (the first was good for one watch but never wanted to see it again), sort of feel the same way about this. No real feeling one way or the other. And I'd wager Liam Neeson is gonna be the real bad guy.
Plus, "Tuesday is taco day." Did they only do one take of that, couldn't come up with "it's Taco Tuesday?"
They do things differently across the pond.

I find it humorous how the movie universe of MIB has changed since the first one. Like in the original, most aliens were in New York and locked there. Now, there are international operations. Which, I mean, makes sense, especially with the comment in MIB 2 that all postal workers are aliens. But I still find it funny.

The fight was ok, I guess, but it really says something bad when the fight scenes in Mortal Engines were better than this. It's going to be Ghost in a Shell all over again, isn't it?

Ehhhh.. that Alita scene... that female cyborg, they just should have had the whole thing CG cause the actresses face just isn't working well with the animation. (no not Alita)

Matt Lucas, alright, cool. And I hope this works for Vanessa Hudgens because Powerless was a show too good and too soon for this world. But that's stretching it with calling Polar a "graphic novel," it's a damn webcomic that was reprinted into trade paperback.
Carmen Sandiego, no. Bad flash animation and teen thief aside and severe, almost violent lack of Rockapella, she was a good guy who became bored with being a good guy and stole for the thrill of it. You don't need all this stupid justification for why she's stealing and is actually a goodie. Hell, should have just brought back the actual game show since so many are popping up on Netflix now.
The idea of making bad guys good guys in order to flip the script and make them empowering is dumb. Bad guys are empowering. All the more so because they're bad guys.
