The only movie I will even concede might be on Jurassic Park's level is 1986's The Fly.

And that's because it too features the majesty of Goldblum's bare chest.

So the first seven Fast & Furious films are on sale over at Amazon for near $20.

And that is the story of how I now own the first seven Fast & Furious films.

    Movies are pretty neat

But none of them are as neat as Speed Racer

Let's talk about which movie gets second place!

Oh my god, was that a ninja?

More like a nonja. Terrible what passes for a ninja these days.

just saw a commercial for an escape room horror movie

honestly surprised it took this long

I've seen that a couple times and it looks like it's an anime-less 999 movie

But, the anime is the good part of 999!

Into the Spider-verse was fantastic oh my god

I did not remember Nicholas Cage was in this! And Jake Johnson! That wasn't even Jake Johnson. That was Nick Miller as Spider-Man.

And the music! Oh my god the music. So fucking good. And that post credits scene! Aaahhhhh. All of it was all so very very good.

Now it’s in my top four

Will it eventually work its way to number one? Chances are good

Take your time, but there's a small, insignificant detail in the early bits of Spider-Verse that I think you'll get a kick out of

Trash movies watched on plane: a list

Oceans eight: pretty solid! At least as good as the average oceans movie. Helps that I spent the whole film unsure if I want to fuck Cate blanchett or be Cate blanchett

Mission impossible fallout: stupid even by the standards of MI movies. Missed the last twenty minutes and don't care

Ant man and the wasp: cute. I don't know why the trash science in these movies bothers me more than in other marvel excursions. Maybe because quantum physics is weird enough already and you could pursue some genuinely philosophically intriguing ideas without even getting very SF about it

Tombraider: actually pretty good? Thought it was notably better than the Angelina Jolie version.

    Aquaman was fun as hell

Really cheesy, but mostly endearingly so. An absolute visual spectacle, that movie is gorgeous.

Momoa was a lot better than I was worried he would be, and felt much more comfortable than he did in Justice League. Heard was probably the weakest lead but still not bad.

My ideal dream situation with Cate Blanchett would be to go wedding crashing with her.

We'd sit at a back table and just gossip about strangers.
