So over the holidays I bought a video game soundtrack of a game I never played.
It got recommended by Chris Remo on a podcast some time ago, and I finally checked it out. The first track almost put me off the entire thing, but before I knew it, I listened to the whole thing three times over.
I kinda like the arcade version more, the synths are less realistic and the vocals rely on heavily repeating shorter samples a lot to save data space or something, but that gives it a certain charm.

I need help - can anyone identify where this song is from in this video? The video itself is a tutorial thing for grinding a stat thing in Order of Ecclesia (and the music certainly isn't from that game).

Once the Objection Theme starts kicking in at 0:06, I keep thinking it's a Mortal Kombat theme.
This doesn't really seem to work? Like, it just sounds like two songs playing at the same speed, they don't seem to line up or compliment each other really?
yeah that one isn't great, I was just thinking "you know, cornered mashes up well with both the cheetahmen theme and space jam, I wonder if anyone... yep, yep they did"

It's "So Let Us Melt" by Jessica Curry: https://jessicacurry.bandcamp.com/album/so-let-us-melt
my personal favorite track is "Our First Singing":

No idea what the game is about, but I love the music. Give it a listen!
If this came on the radio in the 90’s—00’s I would have legitimately bought this as a single.

From the uploader's comment:
"It's from the arrange Album of Megaman 9, Magma Man's stage."
e: here it is

Also it was shockingly hard to find on YouTube, there's a lot of peoples' own work labeled as "arrangement album." Go figure.

The game itself wasn't very good, but Sakimoto did an excellent job with the OST, as always.
