I believe we are assuming we are keeping our chars from Division 1. So we would be second wave agents. I mean we know there isn't a government, so there wouldn't be anyone to call up a third wave. So NY survivors and possibly new recruits trained by those guys?

Man I'm just getting so frustrated at this drop. I've cleared I want to say over 30+ supply caches, tons of bosses, legendary fucking everything nothing. I'm getting everything but the fucking thompson. I'm so god damn angry there is no bad rng protection for people like myself.
Like I'm pretty sure I never got the thompson previously I'm pretty sure in over 300+ hours of coming back and playing its never fucking dropped for me, that's insane.

Honestly I feel so free. Its stupid I admit, but because I was so singularly focused I was getting like angry at other things because I was just thinking of different things to get my drop. Like I have a three day weekend this weekend and I was like "ok so finish my weekly, do some dz grinding, do some legendary maybe hvts..."

We'll see how things go, the dark zone in div 1 was kind of a failure. They did it better with the man hunts and such, but the damage is still done and its a land of dickery. Hopefully they don't make the same mistakes in div 2.

It does get surprisingly easy if you avoid fighting in the large open area and just lure everything back down the stairs. The boss wave healer is particularly prone to abandon his friends and come down to fight you 1-on-1 if you pop his box and drop some turrets. But with groups being groups they tend to end up in shitty spots up top trying to trade fire with the enemies until they get tomahawked in the face.
Legendary though is something that highlights one of my bigger gripes? About like the revamped division gameplay, some of those enemies are just ridiculously bullet spongey. Like hunters at the end of a legendary mission require like full dps from everyone in the group and like extra dps moves added on to burn their health down.
Also that all the legendary missions were just Last Man Battalion. I get because they had the hardest specialists, but its also super boring to fight the same groups of guys.

yeah I really hope with 2 they focus on more enemies in more effective like groupings, more dangerous abilities that combine together, etc, rather than just guys that are more bullets than man by the time they drop.
Well in the general gameplay they've said they want less player face tanking, and less bullet spongey enemies. Now we'll see how that applies in practice, because early game is always different than end game in literally any rpg.
