The Saints are really trying to make this drive harder than it has to be.

Eagles 3rd and 15+ has to be the most assured first down I’ve ever seen. If I have to watch another game where they back every fucking db in a 20 yard deep zone ever again I’m going to fucking scream.

Jim Schwartz needs to never be on an nfl sideline ever again.

The one holding call was garbage, to be fair. The rest is on them though.

That is the worst PI call

Especially because they've been allowing a lot of contact all game.

    It was holding miscalled.

Foles has had guys open on every play but the magic is gone. Horrible throws everywhere.

Hmmm... That long third down conversion looked very familiar.

The eagles play the exact same defense on 3rd and long every time and it is always 10+ yards.

As happy as I am to see the Saints winning currently, I am kind of sad that the legend of Nick Foles appears to not include back to back Super Bowl rings. Also not super happy about the number of injuries today for the Eagles. Seems like a lot more than average, but I might just be noticing it more.

That was a bad run call on that 3rd down.

Oh I am more than aware that this game ain't over by a long shot. I used a lot of qualifiers in there for a reason.

Edit: I also typed it out before I realized they missed the FG.

All things being said, the Eagles were a team that was dead to rights halfway through the season that basically was about to beat the team that was responsible for nearly killing their season. If after their loss to the Saints in the regular season you told me they would be a freak missed catch into an interception from beating them in the playoffs, I would have you put in a crazy house.

I am happy with that game.

This and my comment about not being from around Philly are pretty much how people feel around here. At least the media and what they throw at us constantly.

Most of the major sports names around here absolutely DESPISE the way Schwarts calls defense most of the time. In all honesty, they are right. His way of playing is stupid as shit. The players keep them in games, not his defensive scheme.

It could be worse, but he really needs to stop having them play off the receivers so hard when they never tackle them anyway.

Pats won the regular season head to head with the Chiefs still having Hunt. And given what they just did to the Chargers, hard to call the underdogs.

Eh, they beat the 5th seed at home. A Cali team traveling across the country to play the early game in temps they aren't used to. I'd say KC at home being the favorites sounds about right.

Early line is KC by 3. It's the 7th time Belichik has been an underdog in the playoffs. 3-3 straight up so far, as well as against the spread. Two of those wins were way back in 2002 during their first Super Bowl run.

Hot take: A 12-4 team really shouldn't have to go on the road in the playoffs to play somebody with a worse record.

The Chargers likely would have lost at Stubhub too but it’s kind of dumb that a 12-4 team had to fly across the country to play back to back 1pm local playoff games

Doesn't Vegas give 3 points to a team just for having the game at home? I'd say that means the game is even, not that the Patriots are underdogs.

Like, I've watched the eagles give up so, so many long 3rd and 4th down completions to teams because they play so insanely soft every time. If they were some incredibly elite tackling secondary that always got people down when they forced them into routes at the sticks, ok maybe. But they're one of the worst tackling defenses, and every x and long play ends up as a free pass to 2 yards in front of the sticks because the dbs are all lined up 15 yards off the line of scrimmage and if the db doesn't make a perfect tackle, it's a first down. Schwartz does this every single time.
