My main thought about that crayon filler is wondering how it matures. It looks real cool as is, but does it stay that bright?

i imagine you'd do some kind of resin or varnish over the top, but i dunno how it would hold up over, say, years.

seems like it would be real vulnerable to having something hot placed on the table melting it too, or even just something heavy falling on it on an edge and gouging it

also it looks more like your cat threw up on your table than an intentional decoration but maybe that's just me

it's definitely sealed in with clear resin - it's basically a colourful version of a river table:

It would be sealed for sure, and Crayons also tend to use fairly stable pigments. A lot of people use crayon as a medium for art. There might be some UV breakdown of the pigment over time but not really enough to comment on.

well look if it's the queen then her golf coach has to be the magic spirit of Angus McGolf-Inventor then right?

  • TaminTamin Registered User regular
everyone knows that golf was invented when Bandobras Took charged at Golfimbul during the Battle of Greenfields and knocked Golfimbul's head off. The head flew through the air for 100 yards and went down a rabbit hole.

Probably hitting the curb at ludicrous speed, sending it flying into the air with enough force to knock that other car over.

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
