It's incredible. Every time they announce a new comic that makes me start to regret not buying their comics anymore, they do something very stupid or terrible and I feel my resolve strengthening.
So thanks. Marvel management, for continuing to suck.
Also someone pointed out he was the talent scout for Marvel before getting promoted so
It was literally his job to hire those inkers he is now shitting on
The charitable read on this would probably be that inking is in a bad place, and he had to make do with hiring the best of the worst.
But, of course, he hasn't earned a charitable read.

I have to imagine a large part of it is that it's also a job that gets a pretty bad wrap as is. I can't think of many who are stoked to get into inking. And larger culture still probably doesn't even know it's a job on a comic, presuming the penciler probably did it. And if they do know it, they might tend towards seeing it as a glorified tracing job.
So yeah. Shitting on the talent you have already isn't going to particularly endear yourself to the inkers you might have wanted.

I was in the same boat! I was eyeing the "War of the Realms" stuff, thinking it might at least be worth reading in Marvel Unlimited format at some point, but now I'm back where I was!

I was almost regretting not getting in on that Guardians, because I love Phyla-Vell and Moondragon. I was almost going to ask what happened in the last year (something happened with Rocket? and Thanos died? Again? No, I mean like, again again. again.)

I bear no ill will towards AoS and watched and mostly enjoyed 3 seasons of it, but I don't know literally anyone else outside of these forums who watches it
Loki and Wolverine are guarding the Infinity Gems for....some reason
And that's about it
I thought the ending was Adam Warlock having all the gems and he gave them all souls and then they took off into parts unknown.
Hey guys, I found it! The worst fucking idea anyone in the Marvel universe has ever had!
Well seeing as apparently the Time Gem afterwards bonded with a crook to give him time-stop powers that let him escape prison, that might be a correct assessment of the situation.

Given the Soul Gem has literally been portrayed as vampiric and craves souls, giving it a life of its own seems like a super bad idea!

There is a Wolverine: Infinity Watch miniseries being advertised right now billed as Logan and Loki guarding the gems so who knows
I could be wrong, but I got the sense that story is supposed to fill in the gap before the Marvel Legacy bit where Logan stole the Space gem from a frost giant who was stealing it for Loki.

As it is, I’m just waiting for the rest of Zdarsky’s Spidey to go on sale.
This isn't even the least professional thing he's done!
Yeah, this is really just him being on brand
Mostly just the combo thing

Well it costs $100 to produce a season, so I can see the reason to continue it.
It's impressive how they've managed to get more and more audacious with the plots while the budgets keep getting smaller.
