i would say i'd do this but then the movie would ends and i would have to leave the coffin and be reminded that i am, in fact, still alive

You know you can never die.

    Those are the rules.

Yes, yes, we're all familiar with the curse.

The Endless shares a lot of DNA with Spring (focusing on character relationships over the horror elements) but its deployed very differently

Literally all of these suggestions are good. Thank you. Leave No Trace, Bomb City, and The Endless are now top priorities. I’ve seen a bunch of the others.

Like Burning. Burning is so good.

Leave No Trace and The Endless were both very good surprises for me. I knew nothing about either going in, they were basically chosen at random for me...so I was a little cautious or skeptical, but I ended up really liking them both. Love when that happens.

You Were Never Really Here, Leave No Trace, and Bomb City are all included with Prime.

The Endless is a Prime rental, but it’s also on Netflix. I can’t find Burning on either service, while Support the Girls is on Hulu.

Looks like I’ve got some movies to watch!

Man, Reynolds was good in that. I saw it on an airplane, and it felt incredibly claustrophobic.

Buried is a movie that I can never watch again because it was straight up too much for me

    Especially at the end

Let's talk about our favourite connected movie universes here!

    HI DARK UNIVERSE THREAD!

Have you all seen that the director of Upgrade (which while not being the best movie, shot the action very interestingly) Leigh Whannel has just been signed to direct the NEXT INSTALLMENT of the DARK UNIVERSE which is the invisible man

They already made the best Invisible Man movie they can make.

    Hollow Man

I dunno, do they need an invisible man movie with a rape scene?

I find it hard to believe they will make one without at least a minor rape scene.

This is unfortunate but probably true.

Like, call me whacky and new age, but if you have an opportunity to rape people. Don't.

    This might be controversial but

    I agree 100%

Just seems that everytime an invisible man story comes up it happens.

I was going to say that it's odd that of all the invisible mans Alan Moore's invisible man never raped anybody somehow but that's how they like recruit him isn't it, find him doing Alan Moore stuff in an orphanage or something

It's kind of a core conceit of the ring of gyges story.

Doesn't mean it should keep coming up, though.

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

I think an Invisible Man movie could make for some interesting horror if they parallel how the anonymity of the internet can turn people into monsters.

RZA will direct Angel of Dust

Casey is a normal yet exceptionally smart teen and talented rapper, but after the mysterious death of his parents he's forced to grow up in NY's roughest inner-city streets (known as Shaolin in Wu-Tang folklore) basically on his own. As life in the hood around him gets tragically worse he must put his skills to the test to survive not just gangs, corrupt cops, junkies and bullies, but a serial killer with seemingly supernatural powers dubbed "Angel of Dust" by the media

    Story by Ghostface Killah

if it's a character in an alan moore story, you are always safer assuming they raped someone.

the odds are in your favor.
