So this apparently leaked. Dunno if real, but if it's a fake that put a lot of effort into it.

Without the Megazords, the SNES fighter(Game Gear close second) is automatically better by default.

A tag fighter would be a nice change-up from the mobile game. The mobile game has you pick a fighter and two support characters that just hop in and do a single action when you summon them. Being able to play as all 3 characters you pick would be cool.

Being able to do any move at any time would be different too, since the mobile game has a sort of card draw system for your moves.

Plus, the wording of the Green Ranger promo "skin" definitely makes me think it's different than the mobile game. That version of the Green Ranger is a completely separate fighter in the mobile game, not just a skin.

But uh, yeah, same assets, just slightly prettier for consoles/PC.

But make them the same scale as everything else.

Gimme tiny Dragon Zord duking it out with like Doggie Kruger

My guess is there will not be characters in this that aren't in the mobile version since they'd need to build the assets

I can see why they'd think to go with a fighting game for the franchise, what with all of the fighting on the show, but something like a Musou/Warriors game would work way better for Power Rangers. There's already loads of available grunt and general units to choose from among the different seasons. Just let me blow up 200 puttys at the same time.

Yeah with various one-off monsters as generals or special enemies or whatever the hell it is? It makes perfect sense

I would play the hell out of that and I hate the musou games. (hate is a strong word, my only real exposure to them was on the ps2 and my friend didn't let me even try them I had to watch him play)

Though they need to let you summon your zords (to scale with the rest of the level) when the monsters grow and switch between Rangers on the fly.

Yeah, this looks like it plays very differently than the mobile game. This looks like an actual fighter with combos and dedicated buttons for specific attacks instead of the card, stamina, rock/paper/scissors system of the mobile game.

The White Ranger making his first proper appearance in the main MMPR comic-book series, taking over the role of leader for the post 'Shattered Grid' team and his appearance will likely begin answering what happened to the MMPR team after the event.

EDIT: Some merch for Beast Morphers has cleared up what the GB tags on the equipment will stand for.

Curious about how the move to Hasbro will affect this. Chip Lynn is still involved, so hopefully it will be like Dino Charge and not Super Dino Charge.

I have to say, having the villain of the series going for the Morphing Grid is a novel idea and a good hook to reel in viewers. Has any villain in-series tried it before?

In-show I meant. Ooze doesn't count since he was in a movie and a non-canon one at that.
That's also why I didn't include Lord Drakkon.
