I feel like reading on unlimited has been a good solution for me; I still enjoy reading some of the books without feeling overly attached to particular titles, and I experience any outrage over editorial choices from basically six months in the future so they’re harder to get worked up about

Gerard Way's comics have been great

Everything Gerard did last year was great. He released like four songs last year and the first was the perfect song for s ooby and the gang to run through a mansion chased by a dork in a mask.

    Spider-Man trailer looks dope.

Also, a public high school class trip to fucking Italy is the most unrealistic part of any of these movies.

I went to a public school in Oklahoma and there were multiple trips (for various clubs) to Europe/Asia every year

Admittedly that was a decade ago and public school funding in OK has gone down the toilet but still

If the high school paid any money towards it, that'd be unrealistic

But student funded school trips happen all the time. Mostly over the summer

Also iirc this isnt a public school right? Its a private school with a focus on science.

EDIT; Apparently its based on a public school that IS focused on science. Im not sure if that means it could have extra funding or whatever.

It’s a magnet school, which is how Peter is in it. He makes good enough grades to qualify for it.

And like, basically every other student that goes to the school is wealthy as fuck.

The only school trip I went to was to Washington D.C. in the eighth grade.

One of the days of the trip I drank so much straight half & half that I depleted the entire dispenser and all of the adults were angry at me.

    I have zero regrets.

I went on a mission trip to NYC two or three times with my Episcopal youth group. We stayed at the YMCA, saw some sights, and did a bunch of volunteer work for the homeless.

    It was pretty great.

    Plot speculation:
also Nick Fury or Shield could have covertly paid for the trip as an anonymous donor just to get Peter to Europe.

Hey, congratulations for having that opportunity. I took four years of Spanish, but wasn't fortunate enough to have a school where that was offered.

Appreciate the goosed tone and thinly veiled insult though, so you can right fuck off.
