Hmmm weird I can't find a youtube video of it with the proper end part, they all seem to extend the Dun. Dun. Dun. Dun. part out way too much, it looped much faster in the actual game I think.

there's a cute easter egg in the upcoming game Anthem that was found in the game's demo, if you put in the Konami Code on the title screen after logging in you get an alternate version of the main theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsIn0XvlpuM

The Zohar arrangement is particularly crazy because it has three staves. The pianist has to decide which hand to play the middle staff with (and probably has to switch often.)
I briefly attempted Zohar's arrangement until I realized I'm not a very good pianist.
EDIT: Ha! And Kara Comparetto is the top commenter (and she has her own channel showing her playing this song.)

I wish I remember how this game was distributed so I could point people in the right direction. I got it so many years go and it's a really fun Metroidvania sort of thing. Except you float around with a jetpack.

another favorite is the Metroid 1 title screen music played on an analogue synth, it's delightfully eerie

Best boss theme a Metroid game has had in ages, I tell you what
If someone told me this was from the FFT soundtrack, I'd believe them.
I mean, not really because I know the FFT forward and backward, but, y'know what I mean.
