    I'm not 100% sure any of the showrunners or writers have ever met a lawyer.

    Their knowledge of law seems to come from asking their uncle who watched season 1 of law and order.

    When I heard that there was a tiger in The Walking Dead I thought "they put a tiger in the show so later they could have a tiger get eaten by zombies" did that happen yet

    I started the new season of True Detective today (not posting in that thread since I haven't caught up yet).

    Mahershala Ali is so good in this. What struck me most is his voice. It's not just that it's deep, it's that it's rich, like it's weighed down by experience and the burden of a life lived as a soldier and a homicide detective. His voice as a 70-year-old feels like its carrying pain.

    Or maybe I just have a really good sound system.
