anyway the realer answer is that they have similar looking bodies and art styles because it's cheaper that way and it's the only way they could put in 40 characters
more unique characters means going down to like, 10, 8, 5...
I am fine with them all being similar models and what not
It is specifically the realistic aesthetic they are going for versus a more cel-shaded or cartoon influenced look that both fits the properties and would look less like horrible preternatural monsters
This is a few days late, but the second series of Macaulay Culkin's podcast has started, with its first guest, Devon Sawa.
Culkin wanting to fight / talking about fighting Sawa was a running gag in the first series, and they do settle that in an amicable way. Until the last few minutes, when
Culkin reveals who owns www.devonsawa.com
and the feud is back on, which was of course inevitable, so not a spoiler.
It's a pretty pointless podcast, but fun. It works really well with the right guest, and Culkin is pretty great.
I like the whole Bunny Ears site/concept, which started as a way of mocking Goop and its ilk.
I love that Pete in Re:Coded was the bridge too far.
I felt the same way. It was an awesome moment of synced emotions. Natalie was like and then Pete hacks into the boopagoop and I was like fuck off kingdom hearts, seriously get fucked no way
im just surprised people had literally any expectations for jump heroes
I think Dragonball FighterZ really raised the bar for what people expect out of a game like that.
Hopefully this recalibrates folks' expectations because
1) Shonen Jump doesn't have the money or the worldwide pull that Dragonball does
2) This game is being made by a studio whose biggest titles to date are 3DS games
FighterZ is very much an exception to the norm for anime fighters
Also I don't think anyone said they had expectations, just that it is ugly as hell? Moreso than previous ones have been, even

yeah the thing with DBF is that it was made by arcsys who tends to make good (if sometimes impenetrable) fighting games and pretty much perfected the art of cel-shading 3d models with their previous releases.

There are absolutely expectations out there
I know many people who are excited for Jump Forces and I'm honestly just sad for them because there's no way that game isn't hot trash

their graphics are basically SORCERY!!!!
anyway if people want to be excited for an anime fighting game their next game is based on one of the the most popular japanese mobile games, one which literally forced legislation over gachas
I started listening to the Book of Mudora, and it’s really making me want to play Link’s Awakening again and buy the 3DS version of Ocarina. I get the urge to play OoT every couple years, and it’d be nice to try the remake.
I've been replaying Link to the Past off-and-on lately. Despite being one of the most popular games I've really only played it once, being a latecomer to the SNES. That game still bangs.

do we know what team at ArcSys is making the Granblue game
one of their teams makes fighting games that peer directly into my brain and give me everything I want (the Persona Arena team made DBZF and it very much shows) and the other one makes Guilty Gear which just confuses me

that's what you get from the studio that brought you Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and Fire Pro Wrestling World

I just looked this up! Yikes!

what was the thing with that author? they were caught with child porn or something?

They talked about it on a previous episode but it doesn't actually have any impact on the overarching story.

Of course, the only characters there I have any sort of connection to is the Saint Seiya ones, so maybe that helps.
I think Dragonball FighterZ really raised the bar for what people expect out of a game like that.
(SAINT SEIYA!!!)
I've never seen the show and yet this was also my exact reaction while reading that post.

There's still some housekeeping and finishing of fine details to do, but I think we finally have a complete timeline for the entire canon Zelda series
It's an odd feeling

I didn't mean here
It’s still so weird to me that they never officially brought granblue here even if you can easily access it.
Oooooooooh that makes sense.
I never bothered figuring out how the heck to get it on my phone so oh well.

I really like when 2/3 people love the song, it spices things up.
Also Hollywood Handbook continues to be an excellent parody of a podcast. Their Rant Wheel segment was amazing.
what about the blazblue team where do they rank
how about the double dragon 4 team
