i think i'm just kind of exhausted by m+ lately. can't really put my finger on it because it's not like i've done too many. i just have like no desire to do them and it concerns me a bit regarding how useful i'll actually be while raiding if i don't take advantage of such important upgrade opportunities.
i think between that and a schedule change causing me to get tired way earlier than i used to indicates that i may not have the energy to raid like i thought i did. :/

I like getting double chests because I like double loot. But I am also not the best at avoiding mechanics (though a few of my deaths in the +10 yesterday were pure bullshit). So I hurt double chest progress

Right now I'm finishing up some homework, I'm going to try a few rounds of this new Apex Legends game everyone is all hot and bothered about, then I'll be on and off for the rest of the night except when its dinner time.
Im willing to continue never doing shrine ever because willingly doing dungeons you hate is a bad strategy.

I actually like Shrine. By this point I've worked out most of the places where groups run into trouble, and now it's just a matter of getting everyone on the same page and having good interrupts in the second half.
In other news, is it still okay for my Fire Mage to tag along tomorrow night? Also, what time do you start?
My iLvl is 379 right now, hopefully I can improve it slightly between today and tomorrow.
We're probably going into Heroic first tomorrow night, and 379 might be a bit low. Thursday being Valentine's Day we'll probably have a short group and might do a Normal clear instead of continuing on Heroic.

Aww, I guess I should have expected moving past normal quick what with being heroic geared from the last raid. But that normal mail set is a color scheme I much prefer to the heroic one.

Look. Getting a mob to zero health is the best form of crowd control.
So apparently if you use any displacement effect on a lost soul as it’s channeling shadow smash, it’ll start to immediately channel it again when the displacement ends, but the circle graphic where it is being targeted won’t update and it’ll hit where the new, invisible circle should be and not where the graphic actually is
Might explain a few of the “huh I was nowhere near that” smashes

Good to know. I probably got people gibbed on Thursday with that.
I did a heroic Conclave pug on my priest and it looks like I was wrong about the timing - it's most important to avoid killing an aspect during the Winds because the winds damage along with the Aspect's death wail cause big raidwide damage. Best to either burn it down right before winds, switching to Raptors when they show up, or wait until after the winds if DPS isn't up to it.
