Also I must say those foxes are signifcantly less sexy than I recalled if I didnt know any better, but I do, I'd almost think Disney wasnt tryin to get me off
This was so prevalent that the main adjective I associate with that film is "creepy"

I still don't know why Disney thought it would be smart to remake a movie that's practically perfect, and was perfectly cast. Robin Williams IS the GENIE.
Unless they're going for copyright shenanigans.... "Oh look, it's 20XX, but since we remade all these disney movies, the copyright has been extended"

It IS smart is the thing. These movies are low effort guaranteed hits. At least they have been so far.

They have fucked with copyright law so much that anything made in the last seventy years is not in danger of entering the public domain.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

I just watched Incredibles 2. And that was basically just Incredibles 1 huh?
Also how in a rush were they with those new superhero designs? Those were like something I'd expect in a Disney straight to dvd sequel in level of care of design.

also the themes it's exploring are pretty different, I like it a lot
i bet a robin hood movie would finally make money again if they did a live action version of the disney one and brought that fuckable fox man into the third dimension
Look, I won’t lie
I would 100% see a CGI remake of that Robin Hood movie
Like, the fox in Zootopia was most of the way there already

I think Incredibles 2 could have explored those new themes in a lot stronger format without effectively resetting the characters and following beats that hewed too close to the first.
What if instead of just CGI-ing scarily too-real anthropomorphic animal people, the roles were all played by people but they were wearing costuming to represent the animals from the original?

If the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was just people wearing turtle shells on their backs, sure

An unironic yes, and also a hell yes to whatever creepy fox mask someone manages to find in the time it takes me to post this.

Suddenly everyone crying out for a revival of Disney's Gargoyles starts looking nervously at their monkey's paws
Go whole hog on racist chinese cat
After spiderverse it’s really easy to forget that Incredibles 2 also came out last year and was very good.

Nothing is wrong with the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles though

Their preference in Pizza Delivery, considering they live in New York City.
Last week I was really bummed out cause my grandmother passed, and that is my comfort movie so I was watching it (its still perfect)
My wife made the EXTREMELY UNWISE assertion that she did not, in fact, believe I could quote the whole film

I know! That's why this is a great idea
