I couldn't do the 10 year play time, that'd be almost torture. I already like the game quite a bit and only got to play a small while. If I got 10 hours and then had to wait again,it'd be like giving me back my cake, but just for one bite and that is MEAN.
luckily, I'm rested up, finally recovering from my illness (seriously, there was... let's call it mucus... draining out of every part of my eyes it could drain from, and I was deathly tired. Now, it's lifting and I shall spend the day flying.
also, it occurs to me that I'm friends with a lot of people on here with Origin PC but not so many yet that have it listed as a game of theirs. I'm Duchess_Archer on PC if anyone wants to add me.

I wasn't going to get the premier access, but $15 is a lot easier to eat than $60 if it ends up not being a good game (which I doubt, but who knows).
It also gives 10% off the full game, so if I buy it, I'll have pretty much paid $9 to try it and play it for a week early - $1.25ish per day rental is cool.
AND it means I finally get to play Darksiders III, which I've been itching to play but waiting for a price drop.

While my PC is fantastic for developing software, I don't have a GPU so I can only play on PS4. My weekend is jam-packed anyway, so it wouldn't even matter.
Yeah I think I just want to wait till the 22nd. I'd hate to start playing and get into the story only to get cut off for another week.
I keep getting tempted but this is the way I am going. I figure it also gives them another week to sort their shit out before official launch and that's not a bad thing.

The 2060 seems like a great card so far. It was a very nice upgrade from my 970, which was starting to struggle at 1080. It's nice to be able to play everything (not you, Assassin's Creed Odyssey) at 1440p Ultra.

I also made the jump from 970 to 2060, and 1080p to 1440p.
Its a great card but the nVidia drivers are kinda shit past 417.71

As a reminder, if you need another hit of Anthem gameplay, there's a stream going up in an li'l more than an hour (3:30 Central). It's about updates coming to Anthem, but I'm not sure if it's about updates between the demo and release, or future updates after release. They'll be playing Colossus, presumably to show off changes to the big boy's tankiness as well as other stuff.

Oh I'm 100% trying it. I will NOT buy a game without trying it first if I've the option, and yes I liked the beta, but. It's only sensible.

The demo was based on an old build so it's not too surprising they can't just patch it to the release version
They will do literally anything to maximize quarterly sales numbers even if it means shooting their own foot off see also starwars battlefront 2.
