Monoma said “things might not work out for me” then he called the copy of Deku a “dud”
Dos that mean Monoma can’t copy every ability? Or that it has a chance to fail? I am really curious about the nitty gritty of how his ability works
My take is that Monoma copied the "base level" or OFA, which doesn't have any of the power that accumulated over the many generations to make All Might and Deku super strong, nor does it have the six quirks of the previous holders of OFA included.
That's my thought as well, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was also due to spirits of the past ofa users being fused with the quirk and the current user
Also I really want to see this arc animated, but I think season 4 will probably with either U.A. Cultural Festival Arc or part of the Pro Hero Arc

I didn't know Pony had a tail.
Also, I feel like the classes should be 50% girls. Instead the author would think of a quirk, then default the character to male unless he could think of a reason to make it female.

It could also mean that Monoma’s power can only copy someone’s original quirk, which in Deku’s case would be nothing. This could be a potential plot point later if it lets him copy quirks like Mirio’s that the actual user no longer has access to.

Depending on how much Chisaki is talking crazy nonsense-science - which may be a lot very nonsense - Mirio could be every bit as quirkless as Midoriya was.

they planned on taking away quirks and selling the ability to get them back, so

It is weird thinking about Two Heroes in a Post-Broly world
Two Heroes was fun and a perfectly solid Shonen Anime Standalone Movie in the mold that has been around for forever
But Broly was so fuckin good and went so far beyond what I expect from the sub-genre that Two Heroes seems worse just by comparion
I feel like two heroes was a proof of concept for the type of movie Broly is.
Movies in canon with the series that have the creator involved so they matter.
I have no doubt the next MHA will be better structured and more like Broly
I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.

Broly has the advantage of the creator being directly involved in that and really only that.
It’s not like he’s out cranking out Manga while Broly is being developed.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
And he is involved with the show and whatnot, he isn't actively writing or animating but he is guiding plotlines and helping with character designs

He gives the manga and the show a rough outline of the story, last I heard.
It’s why the manga veers from the show, different interpretations of the same outline.

Recent One Piece movies are a better comparison for the "creator involved" thing. Strong World, Z, and Gold are all Oda-involved, "Canon" (but not REALLY because there's no good time to slot them into the story), and entertaining, albeit formulaic.
I think there's supposed to be another one of those this year, too.

I think theyre alternating the big 3 properties right now yeah. The OP movies are more these are places that exist in the world but our cast wont ever see them in the story

Yeah I remember Strong World in particular had a character who was mentioned but not seen in the manga as its villain.
Unrelated: So Monoma knows that Deku’s ability is one that stores power now. Interesting that it could be used as an excuse for why he never showed as having powers at a younger age.

Also it was fucking great seeing Mineta get sucker punched in 215 after the shit he pulled

Steam / Origin & Wii U: Heatwave111 / FC: 4227-1965-3206 / Battle.net: Heatwave#11356
nothing to indicate they’d go out of order
Season 4 story arcs speculation
And if Bones pads out the fights and shows what Ochaco was up to during the raid this arc might be the entire season.
I was just hoping to see the Cultural Festival Arc and Izuku remembering that he has fingers :P

I missed the theater run
The Blu-Ray apparently comes with a digital copy, but I have no idea about a digital-only option.

I guess I have a 4k bluray xbone so worst case I'll get that but Id rather just rent it

It's a perfectly adequate C-level game with some just baffling decisions, like one static camera angle
and the thing that really bums me out is no English voice
Hopefully they take more shots at MHA games cause there could be a really good one, even built off of this, but right now this ain't it
They are less relics and it is more that DBF is an oddity
Todoroki is absurdly strong in this game
Yeah Blank is right here.
The 3d arena fighter is the anime game default. Look at the mentioned jump force, xenoverse, the burning blood games, or any naturo game.
FighterZ is the exception to the rule.
It’s a three button game, two of which are quirk attacks
And Aizawa can just...disable two of your three buttons, and I think he’s the only one who can

So, banned in tournaments, is what I’m hearing from this post.
At this point he either just likes the character or an editor is insisting he be used.
Hurray
