I'm going, I'm brining along three or four freinds with me, I'm pretty sure we will be whoring my webcomic Ninja-Golf I'm bringing my artist, and two forum mods(for my forum) anyway i hope to see some of ya, then again i hope to NOT me some of you =P
Oh shit i forgot im bring my freind who has been dubed "The ultimate fan boy" he made Tycho and gabe sign an empty box of cookies.
lol! Yeah, I bought into that thing too... it was a good system though, at least when it was alive. I'm actually more psyched about the road trip than the event. I'm really unconcerned about if PAX itself is going to be interesting now. Heck, part of me wants to ride the caravan and then skip out on PAX and go see the Wizards of the Coast HQ! lol But then I'd probably miss out on some fun LAN gaming, so I guess I'll have to stick with the original plan.
Currently, a trip to PAX is in the works for two friends, my wife, and myself. We will likely make a road trip out of it, coming up the west coast from L.A.
I don't know about my two buds exactly, but I have a feeling my wife and I are going to be spending quite some time at the gaming tables. I'm looking forward to DMing and PCing some D&D 3.5 (Eberron anyone?) as well as trying out the new Risk: Godstorm edition from Avalon hill.

I'm pretty much set for everything, kinda wish I could join the Supertrip form SF, but 1) my car is a piece of crap. 2) I couldn't weasel out of work any days before. I'm gonna have to get a really late flight Friday. Still trying to convince my buddy to come with me... Would be nice to hang with someone I know. Not that you guys are weird or anything. Well, we all are, but that's not the point. I should shut up now, right?
Ha, people complaining about it being too far away! I'm coming from Canada, hitching a ride up with some guy I dont know, and sleeping on the floor ina hotel room rented by people I met on the net. I MUST COME, I NEED SWAG AND SPIFFY MUSICS.
I'm going.
I got invited to it by my friend who's really into D&D and video games and all that. I'm not a nerd, but I do like to play PC games occasionally. I started reading the forums and I'm actually getting kinda stoked about it (especially the after party), which is why I joined the forum.
I'm going.
I'm working at the state fair this year along with two of my friends. We will be getting about $1,000 for working so that will more than cover the cost of going. Plane tickets from the Des Moines International Airport just took a big dive so that's great news for us!
A few of my friends are goign, and the only way i would be able to get a ride down is if i ride with the fat smelly guy and his family. There whole family is fat, even the god damn dog. When they drive, their car is lucky to make it over speedbumps without rupturing the gas tank or something, because if that happened everyone would blow up in a a big explosiony mess. Then people would run up yelling and screaming and trying to see what the hell hapened. But they wouldnt be able to figure it out because trhey would all be exploded.
But that fat guy went over to one of my friends houses a while back, and the couch he sat on still smells, he permastank his couch.
I didnt read this entire thing.....because i suck, but im going with a few friends from seattle. im still trying to get a good halo team together, if anyones interested IM me
I'm planning on going, even though I live in Oklahoma. I missed you guys earlier this month when you were in Texas, I had to work. heh But I've talked with a friend of mine up there that said I could crash at his place. Hell, he wants to go too. Just have to get the money for a plane ticket now...
I'll be there, bought my tickets and stuff the other day. I've also pre-registered for the Halo tournament. I'd say I do pretty well against people here in my town I live in, but I'm not even sure what to expect at PAX. Probably a severe ass kicking.
Oh yeah, and I registered yesterday. All I have to do now is prepare for the Soul Caliber II tournament by practicing with an Xbox controller....which I don't have. Uh oh.
