I'm just gonna dip in here and say the 12-year old remark wasn't that offensive or big a deal. At least to me. Perhaps we should all move on now?
I'm just gonna dip in here and say that you literally do not get to tell people whether they can be offended or not. You know better.
But I gotta disagree with "the Grumps are for young people" line of thought too. Of course that's their cash cow and they aim a lot of their content at that, but Dan is 40. They have a healthy adult audience that appreciates their perspective and silliness too.
I mean, I'm approaching 40 myself (38 later this year), and I would largely disagree that the Grumps and some of their co-creators, past or present, are aiming at the younger kids. Is there a lot of content that that kind of demographic would find appealing (Power Hour, SuperMega stuff, some of the asinine stuff Grumps talk about while streaming family friendly games like anything Mario or shovelware) sure. There's also a massive block of adult content like that whole episode they devoted to talking about Arin's dick in one of the recent New Super Mario Bros Deluxe or as someone else pointed out, some of the stuff Dan talks about because he pulls from his childhood, and Dan ain't no kid.
But hey, I'm an adult who knows he sometimes has the mentality of a 12 year old, and dick and fart jokes can be funny. Saying streaming is what the 12-year olds like is actually true in some context - one of my bosses at work talks to me about how her 10 year old loves watching people stream shit like Fortnite on Twitch and she just doesn't get it, but her son loves it, and before bed, he'll play Clash of Clans for a bit, too (she heavily moderates her son's account on that, though).
It's not entirely wrong to say 12 year olds love streamed gameplay, but so do a wide range of gamers, young and old. It's also not wrong to say GG caters to that crowd, but I'd say they're not exclusively for that demographic, either.

Friend of the Grumps, Markiplier, did the Wired Web Searched Questions thing.
I'm 42... Dan is what always kept me around in the first place. He's also the foil to Arin most of the time. Arin's sense of humor is very basic, to say the least. He also resorts to screaming, making noises and stupid crap a lot when he has nothing to say, or worse, shouting profanities without any comedy to it other than "I'm shouting naughty words". I also hate when he "beatboxes" or goes into shizzle snizzle speak.
It's all very juvenile.
I don't care about watching kids cartoons or playing games of all age brackets, but I often got a nagging feeling of "I'm wasting my time with this". Usually when arin is moaning or making silly voices.
And hey, this is how I feel about it, i'm not trying to impose anything to anyone. If these trivial and very subjective observations that I never projected into anyone gets you so mad, that says more about you than about me. And that's what I have to say about this, feel free to scream weird accusations at me or not, I don't care.
Having gone to PAX when other big names like JackSepticeye and Markiplier attended, the line-ups for those sessions are massive. Enforcers will do their best to keep the aisles and hallways clear before the "official" line-up time, but you'd better have nothing to do for 2 hours if you want a good seat (or a seat at all...)

Main Theater pretty much always has a massive line for their panels, especially the first one, but I also don't think Thursday totally sold out because it's not a holiday or anything.
The Game Grumps latest tour to Toronto sold out in 15 minutes. I had the ticket page loaded before the timer for the pre-sale was finished. And while I was trying to co-ordinate with my friends, seats were being snapped up so quickly. That's the trouble of trying to go with 5 people. I could've easily gotten 2 or 3 seats next to each other, but in all the chaos, everything went super fast.
Yeah I really wish someone would come up with a better ticketing system than just tossing them up and letting the wolves fight over them. A lottery would make some amount of sense but probably frustrate people even more. It happens a lot with music tickets where I don't even bother with some more popular artists.

I've never had this problem with other concerts I've been to, like the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds one, or the Zelda Orchestra I went to a couple of years back. We were able to get tickets in a row for 7 friends.

The show near me (the last one on the tour in Huntington) is standing room only? That seems odd.
I remember checking out a Grumps stream archive once. I think it was for Detroit.
One thing I remember is that they kept talking to someone off camera that the audience couldn't really hear, which was kind of annoying. I'd say if there's someone they're going to keep talking to, at least give that person a mic. The person was also going through a walkthrough and just telling them all of the "right" decisions to make, which took a lot of the fun out of it (though I know they've used walkthroughs in the past, so whatever). Though they seemed to keep losing their place, which led to a lot of dead air.
I'm happy for those who enjoy it, but it's just not for me.

In today's episode of Game Grumps, they discuss in a very serious fashion the Michael Jackson documentary from recently. This is what I mean when I disputed that the show is for kids.
I think what both states can agree on is that they're glad they aren't Indiana.

Like, I am no fan of Sonic Adventure 2. I think the Adventure series is bad bordering on mediocre.

Sonic Adventure 2 is probably my favorite Sonic game mostly because I spent an entire summer with a friend 100% beating that game. I know it has issues and I'm fine with that.
I'm just very much doubting Arin got a 100% clear on that game. He is so clueless to how so much of the stuff in the game works and it really is not that hard to grasp.
The Knuckles/Rouge levels suck but they are not that hard at all.
I also wish they would actually do some of the Chao stuff because that was one of my favorite parts of Adventure 2 but I also feel like they should just ignore it.

Yeah I'm nostalgic for the old games but let's not forget they were kind of ass... We loved them at the time but they don't hold up great when youre used to modern 3D games and controls

Might refund it later, but wanted some time to make that decision.

They have one show in Cleveland in June, which sucks if you don't live close enough. But it's more than we get in Florida.
In spite of what Drew Carrey says about Cleveland: Cleveland sucks. :P
