A player exaggerating contact is irrelevant and I honestly don't know why everyone always insists on mentioning it when it happens
Because the landing looks worse because Giannis jumped way further back and messed up his landing to make it look worse instead of just being a regular foul. I'm not saying he didn't get fouled, I'm saying it's not a flagrant 2 foul.

The result of an action isn't what matters, the action is what matters. He shoved him, making no play on the ball. That's always a flagrant.

Boogie might have a torn quad, which would make him done for not just the playoffs but for a while next year.
There may have been a game or so where they needed him when everyone else was playing turdly (maybe it was last night!) but they have been better without him and he’ll most likely still get his ring.
Giannis was jumping straight upwards to dunk. Just as he was about to leave the ground, someone added a ton of horizontal velocity to his vertical jump. That's what the end result looks like when you add those 2 things together.
Giannis couldn't even fake that. He's leaving the ground vertically, and suddenly dives sideways. How does he fake a change in angular momentum?
Also, your comment about Andre need being strong enough is laughable. Andre is probably one of the strongest pistons, and it doesn't take that much strength to shove someone out of mid air. It's almost as if someone in mid air has no surface and friction to act on to adjust to a sudden change in velocity, so the NBA aggressively cracks down on those type of actions.

It was also clearly out of frustration over Giannis destroying them over the 23 short minutes he was on the court
Last night Siakam became only the third player since 2015 to record 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 0 turnovers in a playoff game. The other two are Giannis and LeBron.

Giannis hasn't been playing that long either. These kids are freaks
I am very much enjoying this Portland-OKC series, though I still won't believe that the Blazers can win if/until we are presently playing the Nuggets/Spurs in the second round.
Giannis is a lot more fun to watch when he's not playing against your team.
i wish they called him slightly more even.
watching him just charge in and clear everyone out with his elbows is honestly kinda boring. and then since everyone knows hes gonna do that and not get calls, they end up jumping on his shoulders to prevent the easy layup and one.

Zion is entering the NBA Draft!
I NEVER saw that coming!
those elbows are flying everywhere on his drives and somehow never gets clear out calls even though he does it constantly.
Andre is strong, but he's not that strong. Giannis definitely exaggerated the push there.

Maybe this makes him a long term guy there now...
not that this won't stop Steph and co. but still
he's a super generous athlete and I know he'd want to feel like he earned it

Danilo Gallinari should sue
I say that and step away during halftime and they go on a 3rd quarter run
