Here's what I need from Capcom as an Arcade release (be it on consoles or a stand-alone product):
    • 1942
    • Aliens vs Predator*
    • Black Tiger
    • Capcom vs SNK 2*
    • Captain Commando
    • Darkstalkers 3
    • Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara*
    • Final Fight
    • Ghosts 'n Goblins
    • Giga Wing
    • Legendary Wings
    • Magical Sword
    • Mars Matrix
    • Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes*
    • Pocket Fighter
    • Project Justice
    • Saturday Night Slam Masters
    • Section Z
    • Side Arms
    • Street Fighter Alpha 2
    • Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
    • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
    • Super Street Fighter II Turbo
    • Trojan
*= all games with potential copyright issues, but I want 'em!

That's my ultimate arcade list for Capcom. That's 24 games (20 if you remove the * titles), which covers a large and varied history of Capcom's classics. Oh, and Black Tiger HAS to be released. It is my favorite arcade game of all time and I will buy it forever.

Give us this list Capcom. Do it!

Also the level of narcissisim on display with making the controller a giant Capcom logo. You could have just made a normal 1P Arcade Stick for half the price, and allow two sticks to link up for 2P.

I wonder if they compared it against of the price of XArcade. That's also $200, but with no games.

    EDIT: $200 with a trackball. $130 without.
EDIT2: Looks like those are sale prices. The original is $200, but is on sale for $130.

The Mad Catz arcade sticks are a better comparison. They range around $150 and are amazing.

I'd be more tempted if they had Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters on there, too.

    Probably not enough, but more.

Apparently the Capcom monstrosity has the blessing of one of the Final Burn Alpha devs.

And to the others, it's a bit of a surprise?

Are these prices for a single stick? Or does it at least come with two? I have a retropie at home and if buying an Arcade stick is roughly the same price I might as well do that.

I remember the X-Arcade stick was really bad to use back in the early 2000s. If it's still around, I'd like to hope they improved the quality of the parts.

TLDW; FBA's license prohibits commercial use, Capcom and/or Harris may be breaking the law.

In happier mini console news, Sega just announced 10 more games for the Japanese Mega Drive mini.
    • Thunderforce III
    • Super Fantasy Zone
    • Musha
    • World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck
    • Streets of Rage 2
    • The Hybrid Front
    • Landstalker
    • Contra: Hard Corps
    • Dyna Brothers 2
    • Game no Kanzume Otokuyou

The article notes that three of those are Japan-only releases, so we'd probably get something else in their place.

But, wow...Contra: Hard Corps! Hopefully that doesn't get cut from the international lineup for some dumb reason.

They HAVE to be doing a Sonic a wave, right? It has 40 titles?

    Next batch of 10 - Sonic 3

Final batch of 10 - Sonic and Knuckles

I also think Ristar and Dynamite Headdy will get in there. They're always on these.

It wouldn't surprise me. Sega seems to be doing a lot of legwork to get games that fans really want, even getting Disney on board with this thing.

It wouldn't surprise me if we get Sonic 3 plus Sonic & Knuckles.

I also hope we get Mega Man Wily Wars on this.

I'd still be shocked if S3&K came out of legal limbo. So expect spinball if anything. Maybe 3D blast if they really hate us.

Really happy/surprised to see castle and world of illusion there. Maybe we can hope for Aladdin.

There's more than ample plausible deniability that Mania is a legally distinct product. Especially if they weren't using any of the contested music. It's not like they've been holding back the best Sonic game for the hell of it.

Oh man, those X-Men games did not hold up for me. I was at the height of my 90s X-Men obsession at the time, so I was overlooking a lot. Definitely better than some of the licensed garbage of the era, but nothing special either.

Yeah, it's a very different beast. I hated it at first because it wasn't like the SNES game...but I ended up really liking it a lot. Very open-ended. Not sure how it holds up, but I know it is fondly remembered.

Mania featured (very close to original) remixes of music from both halves of Sonic 3+K.

And if they wanted to be real lame about it, the PC soundtrack for em exists...

    Oh brilliant
