I believe the reason high-initiative cost on coordinate is high is because it gives lower initiative ships the ability to use reposition actions at a much later time than they usually can. High initiative repositioning is very strong. It also allows them to get target locks on higher initiative ships they wouldn't normally be able to.

Coordinate imo is strongest at both very low and very high initiative, so cost scaling with initiative doesn't seem right for it.
Oh, they apparently announced epic 2.0 is coming and won't require buying new ships at Addpticon.
You're right, I misread it. Still though, it's kind of low considering if she's spending it to enable other ships, and using her own for modification or fine tuned controls that's not much at all.

Maybe to prevent that coordinate should give a token that allows the user to use a second action. I mean it's not going to happen but that's almost certainly the reason it's so pricey. It just seems like one step too far. If you could coordinate limited ships, okay. If it wasn't a force coordinate, okay, etc.

Finally played our first 2.0 game. I was Republic opponent was Seps. We just used the prebuilt cards.
It did not go well for my opponent. Apparent me not playing for a while caused the dice gods to store up my rolls. I always rolled at least one hit and multiple times rolled natural all hits/crits.
I took two shield damage total. It was rough for him.

Wave 5 announced. Two new ships, lots of reprints... Including the ghost being remolded to dock with the Phantom II!
Also, epic play style for up to 8 players, including tools for moving wings of ships at once... And epic ship rerelease, with redesigned bases and measuring tools!
ChaosHatHop, hop, hop, HA!Trick of the lightRegistered Userregular
I think this will be the cheapest wave yet for me! Like a couple of those Y-Wings maybe? The Ghost could be interesting but I'm kind of mostly interested in the Sheathipede as a cheap crew carrier but it's probably not worth the price tag for just that. I don't think I'm really a large base person. The paint job is cool though.
The link if anyone is curious. I really like the paint job on the Scyk.
oh h*ck

From my local X-wing organizer who was at the panel:
This raises so many questions.. like if all formations will be straight lines like that, or why the markers are blue (probably because EIGHT PLAYERS!)
According to my friend, they did say all the old epic ships will be back, they can be used across factions(!?!?!!!), and they will have upgrade kits to get the new bases and movement templates.
Picked up an assortment of Separatist swag. Not sure quite yet how deep I am willing to go in on Vultures, but a part of me does want to Zerg out...
One noteworthy little detail that I haven't heard much chatter about is the Gas Cloud obstacles.
It seems like these could be a huge boon to flying a swarm under tournament conditions. No more breaking formation after the first joust?

I like them for the defense, and for being safe to go through when I have other mod sources (Kraken, force users)
I'm a bit behind on the Waves at this point. But I'm moving at the end of the month so I don't want to get stuff just to have to move it. It's also a bit daunting to catch up as I'm not playing much right now.

I went from this thread and post, to seeing this when I opened a new tab.
I have seen people selling lots like that on ebay since the 2.0 update
It's one of the many reasons I have not bought it
What does people selling bulk ships on ebay have to do with 2.0?
I just see people saying they are not buying it because it's a cash grab or something sighting how they would have to buy multiple copies. There was one guy selling a lot of imperial ships I was tempted since he had the imperial raider. Just I was busy with work and forgot about it until it was over his semi rant in the item summary stuck with me.
I just have a bunch of plano boxes for mine the larger ships still stay in their boxes. I have yet to buy 2.0 because we kind of moved on from the game since I really wanted missions or campaigns to play

That box makes me cringe. Just... AAAAAAAAAA....
I'm glad that the 2.0 stuff doesn't change anything for the microhanger solution I use. I suspect I'll need to redo the gear boxes, but oh well.
Speaking of droids, has anyone flown the Vultures much yet?
Curious about what sort of loadouts have been working best.
Edit: Had not seen this 0_0;
The usual loadout for vultures I see is just energy shells, nothing else. Either a full swarm, or partial (5) swarm with Infiltrator. Run the infiltrator light. I've played with other stuff, but those are probably the most consistent ways to field them.
Mixed vultures/hyenas will probably be a thing? Vultures need a slight point drop I think, they're just so fragile, even compared to tie fighters.
Another issue is that, frankly, Kraken is the only relay remotely worth using. The defensive one won't ever save a vulture, the offensive one requires bullseye and probably another mod source from something (though maybe Precise Hunters?). The new one might be good, especially on the init 1 Trade Federations. Put it on the cheapest carrier you can get, max vultures, and let the predictable bleed give you constant mods to make them bleed faster.

So I played again for the first time since the birth of my kid. Man you get rusty at figuring out where your maneuvers will end up very quickly. There's definitely a correlation between how much I struggle to plan my moves and how poorly I do, since I have less time to think about what my opponent will do.
I played Anakin/Ahsoka/2 torrents. I'm not really sure what to do with the torrents or where Ahsoka is best left. I think maybe she kind of floats between using her ability on herself, Anakin, or the torrents depending on what's needed and that's probably where the skill in the list is, knowing where she should be.
I think I am going to get rid of all my ships that I will never use in 2nd. I might keep some scum stuff, a little Rebel stuff, and my Huge ships. What's the going price for 1st ed ships?
Did the N-1 see any service in the Clone Wars TV show? Seeing Padme pilot a ship is surprising and cool. I like the decoy idea.
Looking at the art of the handmaiden, its referring to the part where her decoy got blown up with her ship in the prequels. So I suppose the implication is she was flying an escort fighter?

Wonder if they're going to get the chrome wing from that scene as a huge ship. Probably not heavily armed, but a more support oriented ship like the Rebel Transport.

The decoy on non N1s is hilarious to me.
"HAHAHA I have you now General Kenobi! Prepare for annihilation!"
"General Grievous, why are you shooting at that Naboo fighter? Kenobi's fighter is over here."
"No no no I'm certain, he's in this one for sure."
"But this one is doing like, weird flippy shit that only Jedi can do and that one seems like it's being piloted by a normal, possibly subpar not fully trained pilot."
"No I can see him through that large glass canopy. I'm sure that's him in that traditional Naboo dress."
Or they fly in formation, quickly barrel roll around and do a quick three card monty move. "Damn it. Which one is Kenobi! God nobody has ever been more confused than me right now!"

That would have to be as wide as the Transport is long.
That and the other chrome Naboo ships feel like they're in a weird in-between spot for both large and huge bases.
The Naboo Star Skiff could probably fit as a large base (it's about as big as the Falcon).

I imagine that if it was put in as a huge ship, the J-type barge could have the base set 90 degrees to the standard orientation to account for it's width, but relatively short length.
Probably have to rework some rules for it that way, I don't know, I've never used a huge ship.
Friend just gifted me the rebel conversion kit! Now I can fly 2.0 without using online reference materials.
Hopefully I can turn the stuff I don't need into the imperial ships I do need. Is there a decent online scene for that?
I'd have most of the big ships and most of the later waves to spare.

I have one of these with only 2 rows of large boxes:
It is over-full though. I also have 3 or 4 red planos for all the chits, and 3 Broken Token inserts for cards in 3 core set boxes.
