I got us up to within 3% of Diamond as of Saturday night but after not playing Sunday or Monday that's dropped to 16% so I don't think PAPS4 is gonna make it this week.
Didn't expect one of the classical songs on RBN to make the jump

Nemesis will be painful, but I shall gladly answer the hesher signal, otherwise Angela Gossow may show up at my house and kick my ass...which might not be that bad thinking on it.

Essentially, they're on track to announce DLC support all the way to the end of 2020 (currently 2019), and they're having internal discussions about hardware, etc.

Honestly I hope they partner with someone to make honest to god high quality instruments because I am really tired of plays going sideways because of phantom strums/overdrive. Considering the basic instruments can reach upwards of $200 on ebay/amazon I'm more than willing to pay $200+ for an instrument that is high quality and repairable. Also maybe figure out a better drum kit that is actually compatible calibration-wise with guitars because yeah the firmware update helped but they still aren't in sync.
Barely! The yellow pad has been "repaired" many times but I don't think it's coming back this time. Also I'm starting to get double hits on my green one.

Well this was fun to stumble onto. Quite happy to see others still playing Rock Band~ ^_^
While we're talking about hardware, do other people use the pro cymbals with any frequency? I still enjoy them, but my yellow one in particular feels really bad and I can't get anything consistent out of it once I hit Moderate/Challenging categories. I kinda hate reverting to just the pads at that point and beyond, but it's also just not fun to have hardware prevent you from playing the game, so ...
I use the cymbals when I'm playing with friends for fun and not caring about score. I like the immersion factor. They are less reliable than my pads so if I'm actually trying to set a score I normally turn off Pro.
I wish I could play drums. I moved to Canada for a bit in 2011, moved in with a friend, and brought my drums with me (with pro cymbals). Left the country thinking I'd be right back..
.. I haven't been back.
Friend is still keeping them in storage until I can get back to them.
Another survey has been emailed out for people that downloaded/used the RB app. The first question asks for a bunch of RB Network songs to be ranked based on which ones we want to see return.
I don’t know any of them.
If you care about any, let me know and I’ll rank them high... otherwise I’m just putting in random numbers.

Meh, I'll take Fall Out Boy over Coldplay and probably either over boring yet annoying riffs/skittle waterfalls the vast majority of metal :P
On the last survey they had sent out, I had also said as much; it feels difficult to the point where I don't want to even go for it.
Also as a heads up, between travel and work I'm gonna end up missing some time early next season, but I'll be back for the middle/end.
New gear, chance to get some old gear.
Nice!
PAPS4 made it to diamond every season but the first but we just don't have enough people playing to even try for bloodstone.
Also confirms Season 0 is non-canon because we didn't end that one in Bloodstone due to the massive sandbagging
I know what I'll be singing come the weekend.
Hope it sells some, cause I'd love to get something like Full Moon in Rock Band:

my god, you still have one of those that works?
i've gone through like 4 drum kits and I *started* with the RB2 kit, which was already sturdier than the RB1 one

Perhaps I can interest you in my meager selection of pins?
Though really I wish I could get a replacement Rock Pedal. That thing was amazing.

Elton John pack on sale.
(it's a really good track for practicing fret movement and alt strumming on bass)
