My roommate and I were talking about this last night! I think it's more likely we see him than not, but what incarnation of him is the big question. Somewhere between Antiquities and Ice Age is my guess.

I would like them to print Yawgmoth because that sounds cool.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
I think if we're seeing Serra and Urza, the likelihood of seeing Yawgmoth goes up a lot. I have no idea who they're going to shoehorn into green (maybe just printing Titania is reasonable enough) or red (same, but Tawnos or Feldon reprints? New versions?).
Also I got to thinking more about that Izzet CoCo and I think it's totally viable with basically just Blightning, Ancestral Vision, Collective Brutality, Dreadbore, Faithless Looting and Thoughseize. You can throw some weird sorcery speed burn in there for removal and for consistency with phoenices and/or pyromancers, but I think with enough proactive discard, the deck has legs.

Yeah reprinting any one of the Commander legends from that era is fine. It's a shame Freyalise has the commander trinket text, although I'm not sure that's disqualifying here.

That's pretty nuts; are there any relevant Delirium cards active in Modern?
Dredge exists
No shit, Pip.
But as an aside, I was curious if any Delirium cards had ever broken into Modern.
A. Needlessly aggressive
B. Delirium? Traverse kinda got played like molly said. I think folks were tinkering a bit with Grim Flayer too. But nothing major
I guess it shouldn't be a surprise, considering there weren't even that many playable in Standard at the time. But I always thought Grim Flayer had a chance, maybe even the Delirium Hymn.
And I guess we should be thankful Emrakul 2.0 wasn't good enough.

This set seems like it is going to create a reasonable shakeup, so lots of potential weirdness can happen. Gotta wait for people better than us to throw shit at a wall

Grand Prix Dallas is the first big modern event after release.
Someone is going to top 8 with, like, fuckin' bear tribal.

Hey that one's already legal in Modern.
I think they're gonna print Yawgmoth.

damn Juzam, what have you been eating/smoking?
The flavor text on that djinn...
Spellbound Dragon was 5 CMC mind and I remember that being a beast.
Bearing in mind for 6 CMC you can get a Niv Mizzet!
