I really love the acorn knight. I think you could probably get away with making your stuff look more finished if you just gave them a ground plane more often. Not really needed for concept art-ing, but for just presenting your stuff, it might have some more impact for the random passerby.
Thanks guys!! and @Iruka yeah I'm gonna try and add more BG's in my character design stuff. Having them in empty voids now I do BG's on the regular messes with me.
You are such a crazy flexible artist, Its inspiring! I'm digging the environments, they have a great mood. Beautiful shapes in some of those trees.
The character is a little lost on the first one, I end up looking more at the white tree. The red scarf helps, but they are easier to see when the complexity around them is reduced and the contrast is a little more pronounced

Thanks so much and yeah I agree, I was trying to expieriment hiding her carefully but hey that's whats nice about warmups. Gives room to fail so when you work on your actual work you got all your bad drawing out.
Always excited to see your work! the ventro bros stuff is so polished, and its fun to see your scarf character still trucking along after all these years. I'd love to get a book of those, at some point.

@Eyecager the acorn knight is incredible. Also really like those tree studies though!
What are you up to these days? I know you were at watts for awhile, but now you're probably a super cool pro, right?
Always loved seeing your new posts, hope you'll be posting some of the work from your new portfolios!
Some Disney Jr. stuff.
Color test from awhile ago.
Messing with a quicker process.
