I can't tell if PQ2 starting with Morgana waking you up is an intentional joke or not
I'm still trying to decide if (I'm 25 hours into PQ2 so possibly big spoilers, you are hereby warned - I am spoiling something that covers the beginning 10-20 hours of Persona Q2 depending on your playstyle):
...if making Haru unplayable through the entire first labyrinth is a joke, an explicit fuck you to the players, or just myopia.
Granted, it seems like it's going to be a very long game. But even so, that was...I don't think funny is the right word. I was bemused, though.

the point of persona is to date as many girls as possible, but more importantly, in persona 5, your main girlfriend should be ohya, because she'll buy you booze

at the end of the day, I felt like she and Joker had a really good bond and it just made the most sense, even if I, me, Graham, would have absolutely gone for Takemi in that situation
Futaba is the funny part for me, because in promo material, she checked a lot of boxes for me: slightly punk redhead with a snarky streak. Then I met her in-game and 180’d immediately into the big brother role you have her take. Add into that the social and power dynamics at play between you two an dating her just feels real fucked up to me.
Makato I also 180’d on the moment she awoke her Persona. Just this jaw dropping “fuck yes!” moment when the other characters rarely get the chance to be that bad-ass in their Awakening.
