Honestly I think it may speed the game up some, since people won’t be afraid of making a huge hoard anymore and having most of it stolen out from them... or at least look out for Too Much to Protect now.

I've never even considered entering something so huge before because I'd assume I'm spending significant travel time and money to just crash out repeatedly against opponents who have done their net-decking and meta analysis homework to much greater depths than me. Keyforge sealed throws all that out of the window. I and everyone else there will be picking one deck from three and it's the brand new set so nobody will really know what is going on. So much more accessible for just turning up for the fun of it (and maybe that tiny chance of doing well).
I have to say, 4 power 2 armor deploy taunt x3 is fun for protecting annoying creatures.
But that first deck... I cannot wait to play and unleash shenanigans. Grovekeepers with Grump Buggy is a good way to make their keys really expensive, and the logos has so much card advantage going.
Curses! Lost the 4th after lunch. Opponent got a Dusk Witch (creatures enter ready) down early and I consistently failed to draw anything to answer it. A few turns of her down and he had an unassailable lead.
I bought a new deck; got Mars, Brobnar, Shadows. I'm pretty happy with that! And Mars creatures are better overall in the new set, based on my sample of one. But this Shadows rare, lolol;
Picked up an AoA core. Haven't played since the prerelease but I figure this way I can show up to an event and have tokens and three decks to choose from.

It was my opponents turn when time was called and he used cards/reap to get him six amber on his turn. The judge went thru the steps and apparently he can forge a key right then and there without me getting a turn. (I only had 5 amber) And was declared the winner. Leaving me pretty awful about how they setup overtime without the opponent getting a turn to do something.

The judge did you wrong. If it goes to time the current player finishes their turn. Then if they haven't won their opponent gets one more turn. Only then do you go to all the tiebreaker steps if there still isn't a winner.
So you should probably have won if you could get 2 amber in your final turn.
Unfortunately it's the store owner who made the call and I have to make nice with him since I organize another card game at his store.
But I told him regardless, he apologizes and says he will check back with me tomorrow. I know he had a print out they possibly gave him for the tournament, so maybe the rules changed in version 1.3? :?
Looks like we're getting Keyforge deck boxes and sleeves through Asmodee's new Gamegenic studio. (Which specifically deals with accessories like that.) They'll be showing them at the GenCon In-Flight Report.

Incidentally, people on ebay are (trying) to sell 7x Plague Rat decks for many hundreds of dollars.
I am a big fan of what they've done with Logos in this set. Archive all of the things.
There's a guy who has reap: draw a card for each friendly logos creature. Reaping to draw 7, twice, per turn... is silly.
