And "mono-green ramp" isn't really descriptive of the deck, because it doesn't play like a big mana deck or have much similarity to the Simic or Bant ramp, while it does play similar to a Tron deck in Standard. A name that intuitively gives the wrong impression is not a good name, and the deck still shows up if you google "mono green tron" or "mono green tron standard".
I finally lost in the treasure challenge to mono mana dorks and hexproof dummy thicc, which you know, that seems fair. the next game i finallly got to lethal banefire though
The event seems to have weird timing restrictions, which has definitely led to me doing some halfway-roping by accident. It seems to hold on the upkeep treasure generation trigger even if you have no way to use mana (and on the other hand, it's definitely screwed some BR mayhem devil people because they don't get the option to sac treasures if they have no spells to play).

My unmodified Feather deck is 2-0. Turn 2 Feather with protection or haste back up isna pretty quick clock.

I think I just brute-forced the last few games with a modified green ramp/proliferate deck. With a lucky draw it could get a turn 2 Nissa or Vivien (Turn 1 Incubation Druid + Leyline, turn 2 Pollenbright for a counter on the Druid, tap for 4 + Treasure), and a couple more proliferate triggers or Bastion activations got me an early emblem which locked the game up pretty quick.
I was the villain in this event. I played 14 land RDW adding banefire/fight with fire/risk factors with no other changes. took me like 9 games to finish though so I wont continue haunting the event.

Yeah 6 wins is pretty painless assuming you have the time to grind in the limited window. And if you don't care about the basics you can just get the free level from your first win and peace out.

Yeah, tried six games. All six times I went second, and all six times it was something with either Mayhem devil and all the Karns, or both Teferis and all the Karns. Eventually won one but I don't think I will bother with more.
I'll echo that I think this event was miserable. I played against maybe 2 or 3 opponents that weren't on RDW, went second constantly, and lost a million times. Probably went something like 6-15 and will never even look at this horrible event again. My eyes won't even move over the splash or play options.
Curious to see what the Dominaria event will be (plz not Omniscience).
Extrapolating further, the other two events almost have to be Amonkhet and Kaladesh even though neither set has accessible cards at the moment. I think Amonkhet would be Proliferate (sadly no -1/-1 counters to make things interesting); does that leave Cascade for Kaladesh?

Since I'm a little busy in the apparently quite short window for this event I just played my burn deck that hasn't changed since Ravnica Allegiance. Still pretty good.
Maybe against the spirit, but I just wanted to get the lands quickly. Rebecca Guay is my favourite so I was very pleased to see they brought those lands into Arena (now bring her back to regular sets)
I forgot that all lands on the battlefield are full art so I'm less excited by the unglued lands for 6 wins. Definitely using the guay ones until we get those mirage basics

My white weenie lifegain did pretty well. But a. it's a bit janky as I've crafted like one playset for it (Angel of Vitality) and otherwise just used what I have, and b. that was yesterday, so given how short-lived this event is the meta might have shifted enough I'd get slaughtered. I'm pretty sure I got lucky for most of it.
