    it's like, a lightning tether that pulses every few seconds and if you take more than one pulse without a tank invulnerability you will explode very messily, so everyone essentially takes turns picking up the tether and getting tazed

    The AST and RDM floaty bits for that gear set are great, they are just drones that float via spinning fan blades.

    Coming full circle from the DoH/L classes using the PLD animations, the PLD weapon from there is just a damn pickaxe and its great.

    I am on He Who Would Not Be Denied but realized my level buffer (I got up to level 54 before starting HW) was quickly evaporating so to try and make things easier for future me I am going back and knocking out all the optional quests for the various zones. I did the Dravanian Forelands the other day and am almost done with Churning Mists

    Dravnian Forelands was fun because the Vath are really interesting and had some real fun writing and the Tailfeather hunters are charming

    Churning Mists is All Moogles All The Time and good god it wears thin

    don't do beast tribes as max level, they give pretty decent exp and help level other jobs outside roulettes

    give it time. the stuff in coerthas in particular is laying the groundwork for heavensward
