I've heard good things about Murphy and Snipes from the film critics I follow
Is that a sarcastic good things?
Because the mention of Snipes instantly calls to mind the story that on Blade 3 he suddenly decided that he'd done enough acting and wouldn't doing any scenes with more than a grimace.
Then again, it might actually have been a case of acting brilliance, because the most watchable part of the movie was Ryan Reynolds trying ANYTHING to get a reaction from him and failing over and over.
Yeah, if he thought the movie was beneath him and quit, that'd be one thing. But being like "I'm going to be in the movie but I REFUSE to open my eyes for this shot," is next level shithead behavior.

Snipes didn't do that out of nowhere. Snipes was an unprofessional dick, it was a negative response to the movie studio kicking him out of the production side and the franchise being taken away from him in his own movie to set up the B Squad. Anyone would have been upset in those conditions.
I've watched the trailer for Last Christmas and I think I've been shown the entire plot, the protagonists's whole journey and have guessed the crazy twist, so I guess I'm good now. Very efficiently done, guys.

So this is what happens when Khaleesi discovers Christmas in Westeros.
Woah hey now. The man lives in Yellow Springs, Ohio. I can tell you right now that that place would never welcome tiki torch whites. It's the most hippy and wonderful place anywhere near Dayton.
1) Are they using Final Cut to make that trailer?
2) If you tell me to trust only one person, Michael Scott, Legally Blonde, or Rachel Green, it's always gonna be Prison Mike.
Looks to be cynical in a shallow, uncreative way. Give me political cynicism that shows the public is the real problem, that's what I'd like to see.

It just feels like an extremely obnoxious version of Election, kind of like how fashion and music these days is take precious 80's/early 90's perfection and ruin it.

That's awesome! It looks like the announce trailer used some similar shot compositions too. That's gotta feel good, making a fan thing that gets recognized by the devs.
This is looking more and more like a right wing fantasy.
I know it's obviously a crime cartel but Rambo taking on exclusively mexicans is problematic. But then wasn't his last film taking on exclusively an ethnic group (I can't remember where it was set) here?

It was set in Burma, against a military that were at the time (and probably still are) committing genocide.
But like in 2019 staging a movie about a scary mexican cartel working indiscriminately in america feels a lot like that Jennifer Garner revenge movie, just a fox news written movie. Which is fine to hollywood, but don't you dare put out something that offends the other side in this country.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.

The last movie was set in Burma, IIRC, so it's not too surprising that most of the people on both sides would be of a regional ethnicity.

His late brother, Charlie, would've been superior in this role.

I am almost done with it. The CGI stuff is pretty bad but the story is interesting and the fight stuff is pretty top notch. I am enjoying it so far.
Here's one for Wang Xaioshuai's latest film, a family saga about loss in contemporary China. Looks assured and moving:

And then another I'm looking forward to, the latest Kiyoshi Kurosawa film which is about an unrooted Japanese travel show host in Uzbekistan:

1) Are they using Final Cut to make that trailer?
2) If you tell me to trust only one person, Michael Scott, Legally Blonde, or Rachel Green, it's always gonna be Prison Mike.
Why is TJ MIller still in movies?
Because mediocre white comedians are a rare commodity that hollywood covets.

It's REALLY good and I'm excited. I hope they go full Clue and do different endings.
Edit: Maybe I saw it here and watched the trailer a few times. Legit can't remember.

I had to smile when the music played, because there was a fan trailer of KSP that used the same music.
Said trailer was such high-quality that I believe the musicians thought Squad made it themselves and violated their copyright.
Is that who Shaun Esau is?
Yeah, he's the one who made that fan trailer.
