Yes, I would like a huge plate full of cheese and tortillas and chorizo and an irresponsibly large beer. I would like that very much, thank you.

I get a little emotional about it.

The amount of matches I have that have never sent or responded to a message is starting to get depressing.

I used Trig once, maybe a year out of high school, and I was so jazzed to be able to use it to solve an actual real-world scenario (friend wanted to build a triangular table).

That was the last time I ever had to use Trig.

Trig was my downfall in high school, and "no math requirement" was one of the main reasons I decided to major in English in college.

I do blame my mother for doing year round school for us to test the theory of you lose 60% of what you learned over the summer as by the time I entered high school I knew some trig and how to use a slide rule. But I found how they taught math was dreadfully so boring and dry. But her plan of teaching year round did sadly also have a side effect she lamented that the need to learn did not go away for us.

In short I don't disagree with people saying they hate math I just disagree with how it's taught
And I confused myself buying $4 of stuff yesterday with a $20 as I thought I could give them a dollar to get back 17 but I knew it was wrong then I looked mentally at other ways I could do this with the change I had and the 20 and dollar
A dark road of math quickly went though my head as the clerk took the bill and gave me my change
