they're better since they encourage gamers to bathe more often

Are you crazy?! A Collectible Rubber Duck Figurine loses half its value the second it touches water!!!

    More pre-Gamescom trailers:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwvAv5YBbco&feature=youtu.be
The Eternal Cylinder trailer ( open-world survival adventure )
My reaction: Man, what, this looks weird as-- oh, it's by ACE Team, that adds up.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fn6h4lLEpp0
    King's Bounty 2 ( turn-based medieval fantasy strategy/tactics )
Wow is this a bland-ass no-personality trailer, Iolo is completely right.

The 2008 King's Bounty was developed by Katauri Interactive and published by 1C Company; King's Bounty 2 has 1C Company listed as both the publisher and developer, so I wouldn't be too surprised if it's being made by a completely different group of people (with a different sensibility). A bummer if that's the case.

This made me curious to see what Katauri is up to, and apparently their current project is Royal Quest, which looks like it has the same King's Bounty: The Legend charm and personality as far as the art goes, but when the description is
Royal Quest offers a fresh MMO experience from the creators of Space Rangers and King's Bounty series. Join Guild Wars, conquer Castles, and battle other players in unique PvPvE locations, or explore the vast world of Aura and enjoy the story on your own.
my eyes glaze over by the time I get to the second "v" in "PvPvE". Also, they start the trailer on that Steam page by showing all of these really cool and unique fantasy monsters, but then you play as the blandest-looking generic humans I can imagine. When the trailer started I was like "OMG, can you play as all these weirdos?! That's dope!", but no.

On the other hand, I'm amused to see that the trailer includes:
    - Literally Chocobos
    - Hydralisks-but-fantasy
    - Ultralisks-but-skinny
    - A WarCraft orc shaman

The ducks look way better, in my opinion. I still don't really want them, but they don't make me want to avert my eyes the way Funko Pops do.

Those ducks are fucking dumb and probably overpriced, but they're still better than Funko

They have managed to step over the bar that is lying on the ground

My duck opinion is heavily influenced by whether they are figures shaped like ducks or if they are bath functional

I guess I just assumed they were bath functional, but yeah this is a factor I had not really considered

I tried to play Apex with my friend last night but had to download the update. It stalls at 8 gigs and when I closed to program to try to fix it I have to start the download from the beginning

edit: annnd it looks like it still stalls in the same spot. I guess I have to delete the local files and redownload it completely.

I will get Origin the day they release Command and Conquer Generals updated for modern PCs. Sadly, the program does not run on modern PCs.
