My secret is that I've been tanking my MMR for the past year by playing nothing but Illidan and Medivh in QM unless I've been needed to fill, in which case I just play whatever.
Also, the best thing about playing Murky is that you can do whatever the fuck you want and you still have a decent chance of winning as long as you aren't terrible at the hero. I've won games against pick comps, games against macro comps (that last game was against Azmodan + Abathur + Jaina), games against tryhard fullstacks, whatever. It doesn't matter.
Man, I wasn't paying attention and the GeForce Experience app did the whole "set HOTS to run at 3840x2160 full-screen resolution" thing.... and goddamn, did I forget how good the game can look.
And then in QM our Murky fed the enemy Zul'jin so he completed his quest in under 3 minutes and just obliterated everything.
EDIT: Boy, the second game wasn't looking good... especially since the enemy team had a Cho that was doing work. Ended up starting to rally around the 20 mark... and got into a fight where the Cho was low but was looking to get away.
"...Wait a minute. As Qhira, my grappling hook does damage, doesn't it?"

The Diablo Devastating Charge nerf has been a long time coming. Chen nerfs are fine although </3 Combo Strikes. Imperius buffs seem kinda weird until you realize they're hitting the weaker talents, so it's actually fine.
Auriel changes are great! I've always felt she's struggled a bit without a good battery and hopefully this will give her a good balance now. Those Rehgar changes lmao those level 1s are craaaaazy now. Rhonda buffs are cool.
Qhira nerfs are like actually fine. About what I was expecting. Tone down the ridiculous ones, bump up the weak ones. She'll still probably be too strong but it's a good start. Grappling Hook nerf is great, that range was insane.
Chromie buffs do not matter one bit, lol.
KTZ changes......... Man I dunno about giving him baseline reset functionality. Even if they're nerfing the damage.
There's unfair, then there's this level of unfair...
This game was so one-sided. My Tanks stayed up front without overextending, Qhira did her thing, Ana kept everyone healed, and I rained damage safely from afar. I went with the Q build for a change and it was a lot of fun.
Oh and Ana Nanoboost on Gul'dan should be illegal. QQQEQQQQEQQQE in like 8 seconds w/50% bonus damage and 40% spell armor is wrong.

It's not 40, you're looking at it the wrong way. It is much more impactful than it lets on.
At level 20 Shadow Fissure deals 575 damage, or 1007 with Quest.
Nerfed Shadow Fissure deals 511 damage, or 895 with Quest.

I didn't know Rehgar was the highest win rate healer now. I've loved him even during the nerfed times. Which I suppose are coming up again eventually based on the dev comments in those patch notes.
Everytime I play him I head to a lane and within moments, they've sent someone who can one shot my puffer and zone me out .
How do I get these games where you can just push out a lane unbothered
On many maps you can cut off the wave before it even hits the middle.
Also, at some point the early-game laning phase is over and teams start running around like headless chickens, giving you easy uncontested stacks, especially once you are able to quickly clear the minion wave with a single Slime+Pufferfish combo (and then in late game you just throw a single Pufferfish and leave ASAP). If you don't get a free merc camp in the first 3 minutes it's fine - you can get plenty of camps later on in the game.
That's a 10% damage nerf to bake in a level 20 Talent. I'd take that on EVERY damaging ult in the game.

The reset functionality being baseline honestly doesn't matter that much, I'd say
Like, straight up? The only times I've seen the old level 20 get value was:
- For interrupts on channeled objs (but you'd have to be asleep at the wheel to get hit)
- When someone was asleep at the wheel
- When the KTZ was a fucking prediction god
The delay and size of Shadow Fissure means it's actually really hard to land raw ones if the person is paying attention at the slightest.
But this is dead gaem we're talking about and I've literally seen people get hit by like 4-5 fucking Fissure resets in a row before because they're just fucking asleep.
I dunno. I still don't think it's a good thing to be baselining, and I'm certainly not trying to defend it. I don't think it should exist baseline. But I'm trying to find a silver lining.
RIP Sgt Hammer though.

Had a KTZ last night on my team with 4-5 ults on the ground at the same time. He was just coating the map in ults. That's dumb. Rare sure, but dumb that it can happen anyway.
