Should Ben be depicted by CGI, or practical effects like in the first two FF4 movies? Way back then, I was really skeptical when I learned Ben was not going to be CGI, but I think they did a good job of it.

CGI, but only up until he gets transformed into The Thing, then it's all puppetry.

Dark Phoenix bombed so hard that they were giving away it's swag for other movies, at least at my local theater. They had this $25 metal bucket and cup combo at my local Regal when it came out. When I went to see Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, my popcorn arrived in one of those metal DP buckets.
I ended up keeping it because it's a really nice popcorn bucket and seems to hold up well in the dishwasher. I just wish it didn't have those gauty logos all over it. It's a shame those GoT girls got mixed up with such terrible productions so soon after season 8's fan overreaction full-on public freakout.
Can confirm this from my local Regal as well. Got it when I went to watch Far From Home I think. They just told me that’s what all the medium popcorns were coming in that day...

That would have been a lot better if they had remembered that the song has more than one note, and if they hadn't been obsessed with changing scenes every quarter second.

Thinking back, the Thor/Guardians meeting has to be the funniest scene in all the MCU. So much quotable dialogue whenever they're on screen.
"They make the deadliest weapons in the galaxy! I would really like to go there."
"Clearly the rabbit is the smartest among you."
"Shouldn't we all have that kind of weapon?"
"No, your minds would explode and your hearts would cave in."
"Is it weird that I want it more now?"
"A little, yeah."
"I won that in a bet."
"You won his eye in a bet?"
"No, I won 100 credits. I went to his room later and took the eye."
"You're from Earth?"
"I'm from Massachusetts!"
"That's Earth, dumbass."
"How much for the arm?"
"It's not for sale."
I'm guessing it's indicative of Peter Gunn doing all the Guardians' dialogue, because it almost feels like a different film with how witty it is.
I always chuckle at the exchange between Star Lord and Dr. Strange
“What master do you serve?”
“What am I supposed to say? Jesus?”

For me it's RDJ's look of frustration as he realizes what he has to work with to try and save the universe.

"Like Kevin Bacon"?
The most reliable guy on his side is the 15-year-old kid who didn't listen when told to stay back on Earth. I know Stark got frustrated dealing with Rogers, but at least Rogers was trained. And old enough to drive.
He was probably thinking "1 in 14 million actually seems like really generous odds right now".

“Exactly like Footloose. Is it still the greatest movie in history?”
“It never was.”
Parker has a good look when he realizes that the conversation took a turn a few seconds ago and somehow got completely away from him. He does the same thing in Far From home when Happy starts taking about the Peter Tingle.
Shut up, Mr. Burton! You were not brought upon this world to get it!

I would actually like some explanation in GotG3 as to how much Quill has actually kept up with Earth since he left. He could've gone back a long time ago and chose not to, and has made comments about things way past the 80s. Does he watch some sort of interstellar pirated Earth TV? Have a black market up-to-date clone of the Earth internet?

Someone managed to get a Zune off planet, I’m sure there other media that get out somehow.

I'm betting it's "writers - even writers from the 80s, like me - don't always have a solid memory / cut-off line, and/or can't resist throwing in some jokes even though they're anachronisms".

AoS (I know) showed Fury supposedly launching dangerous objects into space.
Obviously, he wasn't doing that, because Fury, but my headcannon is now that the rockets weren't empty, just filled with Zunes.
The universe at large is at least aware of Earth’s existence. The Nova Corp know Quill is Terran and the Kree in Marvel knew about Earth we well, and both of them are pretty well known and extensive civilizations connected to the universe at large. Even Valkyrie on Sakaar knew of Xandar.
So I’m thinking Earth is known about in the greater cosmos, but most who hear of it considered Earth a backwoods nowhere planet and very, very few ever have reason to go. Though we see that some do on occasion and bring things back with them like Zunes or 90’s pinball machines.

That's what I always racked up the Jackson Pollock reference in the first movie to.
Yes, Jackson Pollock was well before Quill was abducted. But Quill was abducted at the age of 8, and it's implausible that an 8yr old would have enough of an understanding and appreciation of Pollock's works, to make a joke about it, some 26 years later.

I mean for a few centuries Earth was the private playpen of the Asgardians. While some folks seemed to slip in without Odin caring too much (Kree/Skrulls/Ego), none did much that was real overt. The only one we know of that was overt ended up creating/unleashing Captain Marvel which probably just cemented Earth as a place you just do not touch.
Which just reminds me of one of my favorite X-men issues from the 90's. Some random space horde of mercenaries decides to go conquer a backwards planet somewhere for fun. They pick Earth. Shortly before they land some researcher apparently does a space google search and turns up Earth's history. Like, having told Galactus to shove off, multiple times. Currently housing the Phoenix Force. Some stuff about Skrulls/Kree/whatever space empire the X-men were involved in whose name is escaping me. Anyways, researcher rushes to tell his boss but gets gunned down because you don't rush the space warlord or whatever.
So like half the X-men repulse this alien invasion, while drunk, in Australia, and don't really notice while they're doing it.
There was a webcomic years ago that stipulated the reason why aliens didn't bother with earth was because it's only resource of any real note was pornography.

"One more [question], just one: Is this world protected?"
EDIT: Actually, I think I remember this issue. IIRC, it was a rather direct parody of DC's then-current "INVASION" storyline, including the secret weapon of the invaders; instead of a "Gene Bomb", this bunch had a "Jean Bomb", which looked like a certain redhead suspended within an apparatus whose purported effect (on detonation) was to destroy all relationships, down to and including molecular bonds.

David Lynch's Fantastic Four.
Really, I'd watch it just to see what Lynch would cook up for Dr. Doom's throne.
CGI, but only up until he gets transformed into The Thing, then it's all puppetry.
Also, a non-zero chance Reed will Mr. Fantastic his johnson into a cup of coffee.
