The recruit-a-friend was how my friend got me to start playing in BC.
30 minute CD teleport to each other is much bigger than the xp bonus, IMHO. With two different hearths you can really get some shit done in a short amount of time.
They weren't really clear if the 50% exp bonus applies to wow classic or not. I imagine it doesn't but they really didn't specify other than that the rewards aren't available in classic.
Did the Hunter pet attack speed normalization happen after 1.12? For some reason, I was under the impression that pets would be normalized in Classic, but maybe I'm just thinking of movement speed and not attack speed.

Get a quest addon. Azeroth Auto Pilot is there and is free.
Kill green mobs, do green quests.
If you are hauling ass to a dungeon, grab all quests before going in, since running multiple times is only worth it to get all the gear unless you are dungeon grinding.
Related fo the first point, on quest to kill a particular mob, get a group invite and keep killing.

I actually couldn't find a group for ST when I was in the proper level range. People pretty much skipped it. I heard one person say they had to wait two hours to find a group for it in Stormwind.
I want Eranikus' trinket for old time sake, though.
Also, this Alliance attunement quest sucks. The Horde one was so much better. Storyline wise, it's MUCH better, but a random getting a group for this? Gah. I need to chat with Windsor, hit Stormwind, and THEN get a drop off mobs?
Guess I'll have to wait for the BRD parts.

ST is amazing. It’s like its own zone. There are multiple parts and tons of mobs and quests. Doing the whole thing is basically a whole level, and at that level range that is huge. Definitely not something you want to miss.
Is Bellular hands down the worst WoW content creator? He spends the first 4 minutes of every video selling shit or hyping his own projects, or both, and he literally never says anything you didn't already know, despite every video having THE MOST CLICKBAIT TITLE you've ever seen. And he puts out a new video every couple of hours like his heart will stop beating if he doesn't.
Sunken Temple is a full on raid tuned for a single group. It is awesome.

I am still very much enjoying my Shaman. Was doing a quest that a quest mod told me to go do. Turns out I didn't have the quest which was why the item I needed wasn't dropping. I felt like a doofus.
I was 27 at the time and a 27 Rogue attacked me while I was questing. The absolute thrashing I gave that Rogue was extremely satisfying.

Faster AS pets are better for proccing Frenzy if you're BM spec, but that's about all it matters for apart from PvP

As someone who never was Alliance, I always thought Tirion Fordring's questline was the best.
Pretty much what I did. Never not be killing.

On the other hand, it gave me 6 gear upgrades and the prayer of fortitude book in two runs.
And the third time you do it you are on your knees thanking designer laziness that you don't have to run Jailbreak again.
I literally lost track of how many times I ran LBRS for both the UBRS key and the documents needed for that quest.

It's not really that long!
Longest part is clearing the rings on top and bottom, and most people skip the bottom anyways.
