You spend a lot of money buying stuff for your hot new list.
Which you will never paint because of time, and never play because playing 40k takes forever and is a huge hassle.

Honestly the time it takes to play 40k is sort of why I like going to dedicated events and tournaments for it
I can just... pick a day, say "Yes, this day is 40k day", play a few games and then not touch it again for at least a month or two

The prep/in between takes far longer, between building, painting, working on new lists etc

The first was a coworkers housewarming party, and also I was like hm I haven’t been to a house party in a long time where I don’t already know everyone, maybe I can make some friends or meet a nice lady or both
The second was a DJ set for a dope Japanese DJ who i’d seen before and who was doing an all night set
Instead I accidentally took too much CBD before my afternoon nap attempt and made it to neither party because I passed out by 1030 and slept like 9 hours
But at least I’m refreshed
But I feel bad lol

Surely they are able to correct for the slight deformations in the eyeball that causes most problems in younger people (Fixing the quality of the muscle which causes the need for reading glasses may be another thing.......)
