Yeah, this is the kind of thing you release leading up to the big new one. These are the Very Ugly "HD Ports", right? If so, hard pass- I can pick up the non ugly versions on my JPN 3DS if I need to.

There are some pretty crazy deals now. Of particular note is Bastion for 3 bucks.

I tried digging through it to see what else is there, but there's just so much junk. Anyone spot anything else interesting in there?

So I want to give an eShop card to a friend, but he lives in Portugal and I can only find German ones. Can he redeem the eShop card there, or should I just buy a US eShop card and have him make a US account to redeem it there?

So Japan has it's own market Oceania is it's own NA is it's own [I think NA is all but Brazil as well so South America} and so on

In the past, you couldn't even use US cards in Canada, or vice-versa.

I've not tried recently to see if it's changed.

Old School RPG bundle had me intrigued. It contains Knights of Pen & Paper 1 and 2 (the definitive editions of each) and Chroma Squad.

KoP&P are both available as mobile games and on Steam, frequently on sale for less than $5.00 each, but Chroma Squad is worth the price tag alone.

Basically its SRPG Sentai/Power Rangers. The story's corny like any true episode of a sentai show, and it can be challenging. There's also a bit of a management simulator in there, but that's honestly the weakest part of the game. The music in the game is great.

$50 for Planescape seems a tad steep.

What is this Gleaner Heights game? Apparently it was released on Steam in 2018 but this is the first I’ve heard of it. I googled it and people say it’s like a more sinister, yet not as polished, Stardew Valley. It’s also been compared to Twin Peaks.

For $10, I may give it a try.

He seemed to enjoy it well enough. Looks like it's more focused on story/sub plots than everything else in the game. I don't actually remember any plot in Stardew Valley.

Especially since I believe the recent Jumanji movie basically reveals that the Jumanji game shifts into whatever childrens' toy is popular at the time. Hence it's a board game in the first movie and a video game in the one with Jack Black and the Rock in it.
