They ignore the ethereal and also all FnP-like effects, which is pretty damn potent! Lots of armies but a lot of stock in those shrug saves (notably Hagg Nar Daughters of Khaine as the primary culprit, but some nurgle builds too, even the dreaded Hearthguard Beserkers could be in some potential trouble.) Also it could potentially ignore Morathi's 3 wounds per turn ability, but that may be something for an FAQ as it is not a 'negates wounds' ability in the traditional sense.
Everything they've shown of the Orruk book so far looks pretty juicy though, for sure.
I wish i didnt dislike the savage orruk minis so much. The poses on pretty much all of them are bad and i’m not a fan of the “tribal” aesthetic.
Some smaller orks to hang out with my ironjawz would be neat but i’d like them to put on pants please
I could probably mod the aesthetics to be a bit more to my liking, its mostly the whole range having both arms waving about in the air that kills it for me.
Anyway its not like i need any more armies to buy in to lol
$100 for the new start collecting boxes feels like they are testing the waters price wise. I'm not really impressed by what you get in those boxes for that much.

Been a while and I've still not been able to find this beastclaw raiders bit I need on ebay so I'm gonna have to buy one.
All I want is this:
What is the resale value of the rest of the box?

If you're willing to cover the postage (bearing in mind I'm in the UK) it's yours.

That is a one classic looking Chaos barbarian.
But oh my goodness that Chaos giant is amazing. A 'fomoroid'? Warhammer already had a fomorian reference in the 'form' haha of the fimir. I wonder if this is meant to be an AoS incarnation of them.

GW has teased a lot for AoS via its specialist games.
We still have the Ulgu aelves from Silver Tower, the Kurnothi aelves from Beastgrave, and now this Fomorian thingy

Well I finally got around to putting together the ruins from Warcry... and I'm missing exactly 1 piece. *sigh*
Nobody seems to sell the individual bit, and the part of the sprue with the piece I need is like 20 bucks with shipping.
It's the C2 bit of the ruins.

For Silver Tower, we had the warpriest who now no longer has a warscroll, the mistweaver who seems like she should have been Deepkin but wasnt, the spiky elf who seemed like he'd fit with the DoKhaine range but didnt, the spider goblins who could have fit with the gobbo book but didnt. I feel like a lot of ST concepts ended up going nowhere, which kinda sucks if true.

There's actually a spider goblin in the new book. One of the Gobbapalooza. But I agree that that's not quite the same.

If their solution to your "missing a bit from the starter set" is anything like my "experiencing some damage to two of my Cypher Lord's heads", they're just going to send you an entire new starter set
Not really sure why they can't just send you a sprue(s) but it seems that's not their way

Manufacturing environments that have systems to track raw materials and components can make it a real pain to yank out subcomponents unless you're right on the floor (and doing so is liable to make someone unhappy if they're the kind of person who talks about Lean or 5S or whatever). Customer service is probably somewhere else entirely, and they probably only have access to retail SKUs from the warehouse, not individual bits from the assembly line, since setting up a special line from CS to Manufacturing to Shipping can result in inefficiencies that outweigh the cost of a box of paper and plastic.

All we know is October, though I'm guessing as a brand new model range we're probably looking at a two or three week release.
With psychic awakening coming to 40k "very soon" my guess is that is announced for pre sale this weekend (for the following one of course) and then after that comes out the bone boys are given their time to shine.
GW doesn't (rightfully so) like big releases overlapping.

Ah well, this is long after when I removed everything from the sprue, and it likely got lost somewhere after that point and it's unlikely I'll find it anytime soon.

I had a few broken pieces on my Iron Golems sprues from my Warcry starter box. I emailed GW, they asked for proof of purchase and then sent me a replacement Iron Golems warband.
Then, about a week later, they sent me another Iron Golems warband, so now I have two Iron Golem warbands built, and one still on a sprue that I'm not sure what to do with.

Try GWs customer service they're actually pretty good about this stuff.

They will ask for pictures and maybe where you bought it
Unless youre very obviously trying to fuck with them this is mostly just to make sure stores arent fucking around and pulling stuff apart to sell.

I don't really know much about Warcry but Seized Weapon is a great card.
