Why do I feel like this entire strip was created to justify the word "Duplicake"?...

Going from moist shoulder to decapitation is some rapid escalation. Poor Cakebriel never had a chance. :(

Judging from all the 'guys make realistic looking things out of cake' reality shows out there, this scenario seems entirely plausible.

But even Gabe Cake isn't naturally occurring!

So is Gabecake made from red velvet? It looks like red velvet. if so, then eat Gabecake, eat all of it! Though I would have used some strawberry or cherry filling to create moist innards for my duplicake, just sayin'.

I appreciate the slowly plunging fingers. I assume the 4th frame would be Tycho discovering what treasures lie in Cakebriel's brain.

And then Tycho realizes it wasn't a cake...and maybe he shouldn't have dropped that acid before going to work. But hey, he got a nice watch out of it.

Given the history of this site’s close association with baked goods, I’m bit surprised, but also relieved, that he went for the face first. And not... other things.

I can understand why Gabe would want to pull this stunt.

    He’s a bit overworked.

I dunno though, one of what Gabe does is worth, like, a thousand of what Tycho does. So if anything, Tycho has to be putting out a lot more.
