First RPG experience was watching my babysitter's twenty something son play some first person dungeon crawler where he fought monks. My first firsthand RPG experience was talking the group of Mormons that also lived there into letting me play Ultima- Quest of the Avatar, which mystified them because "wouldn't a five year old rather play Mario or something, there's a lot of reading"
Holy 100 updates! Sorry for the late arrival, had to pick up the wife from the airport yesterday and then never got a chance to get online. Going thru the thread now, but I can safely vote Auralynx as a grudge vote.
If I'm reading this right, and please someone correct me if I'm not:
Currently in the lead, with two votes apiece- kime, auralynx, mrpaku, H3knuckles, Bedlam, premium
One vote a piece for the following- Sir Fab, Zombie Hero, Kilnaga, Romantic Undead, discrider, Green, lucedes, ObiFett
premium for self preservation and to break up the current six way tie for the vote (sorry premium, I rolled a dice and your number came up). How long we got until vote close?
!mrpaku for daring not to conform to his Mormon neighbors' expectations.
That's what you get for standing out!
They were exceptionally bad missionaries! Even a five year old understood this! The correct answer when young and non-cynical me asked "hey can I play your Christian propaganda game" should've been "yes, and have you heard the good word". Instead, I learned that men of God were far more interested in waving a sword at a skeleton, a message I've kept close to my heart to this very day
Finally caught up. I like the "pick one of these 3" zones idea. It's a nice compromise between keeping the info 100% secret, but also consolidating so that we minimize the risk of a couple people going off on their own and getting ganked.
That's an interesting list order and vote non-reason there MrPaku
They already voted in the previous post?
I dislike his 'die roll' defense of breaking a tie, and how Sir Fab's managed to get to the front of his vote tally, when it's mostly reverse chronological order

Current suspicions: Obi & Aura
Obi for being a bit too aggressive I thought in calling out other people for not providing game-relevant information. It's day 1 dude. Ain't nobody should be penalized for stating the obvious.
Aura just giving me bad vibes. I'm onto you.
Not that it matters cause I'm the true Hero and y'all just pretenders so just wait it out and I'll fix everything k thanks dudes later
Seeing as I'm tied for second place, I'll let you guys know what I've been up to so far in case it provides good information for the village:
As a villager, I decided to be proactive and reached out to a number of other players I've had good experiences with in the past just to start a soft network of sorts. I won't name them here, but they know who they are, and I will note that none of them have voted for me yet today.
However, should I die either to the vote or to village-hostile activity, I believe it's likely that those responsible saw my soft organizational effort as a threat, and, if I were mafia, it would make sense to take out a motivated villager day 1, when you are lacking any real information. I think Kilnaga's vote for me was just a silly throwaway vote since no one had voted for me yet at that point and he was just reacting to my own silly throwaway vote for Mrpaku. However, Phoenix and Bluecyan have since come on and voted for me with no explanation, when there was no bandwagon on me to speak of. If either of them ends up being revealed as mafia at some point, I would say that there's a high likelihood that someone in the group I contacted is mafia as well, who warned their buddies about me. Hopefully, that can help narrow down a list of likely suspects in the following days.
Scuffy, unemployed cowards looking to make a quick kingdom Brave Heroes set out to explore the continent on this day. They feared neither dark nor the malevolent forces of the Dragon Lord. Still, not all of them succeeded in their noble quest. Death claimed Phoenix-D and Bluecyan. King Lorik came to personally inspect the bodies.
“Death should not have claimed thee! In fact thy death proves thy ancestry. Cancel the 23 and me kit for these two. Mere pretenders.”
King Lorik could not be bothered to spend anymore time on these two. More observant citizens noted that while Bluecyan had been thoroughly roasted, toasted, and burnt to a crisp, Phoenix-D appeared to have been murdered with a Bamboo Pole, which was a pitifully weak weapon of the type that foolish pretenders often purchased. The townspeople carried the corpse to the Alfegard forensic examiner, who like all officials in Alefgard stayed in his office all day and night. “Probably took their own life so as not to disappoint Erdrick, most likely”

In their travels, some of the Heroes had encountered a tall horned man. Was this the fabled Dragon Lord? The man offered to split the kingdom in half and rule together with them. Sadly he was beset by so many heroes that he ran out of prime real estate and they decided to execute MrPaku. The Heroes rejoiced until King Lorik reminded them that without recovery of the Balls of Light no one was getting any kingdoms around here.

@mrpaku Just over 3 hours till vote close
Good enough for me, for a random-ass first day vote where I have slept the day away (seriously next time someone do 1 HP of damage and wake me up)

Not true! Some of the options are not caves and therefor not technically spelunking :P
I think he was assuming everyone was onboard with the choose a cave strategy for day 1
