I only care about them getting off their asses and fix the constant coop crashing your console, that cant be good for the machine.
Guess thats not really a priority.
You keep saying stuff like this, and frankly, people keep correcting you on this viewpoint, but you keep saying it anyway. This take is ignorant and wrong and you need to try to accept and understand that.
This is not at all how software development works.
It isn't just like 5 guys in an office, all working on the same thing.
This is literal hundreds of people with all sorts of specializations and assignments. Multiple teams are involved on this game.
The technical programmers are different from the balance/class designers are different from the artists are different from the animators are different from the writers are different from the network technicians. And so forth.
You specifically have a problem with system crashes. That sucks and a lot of other people are affected too. You can rest assured that Gearbox is aware of it. They aren't just "sitting on their asses" and doing nothing about it. There is likely a team of back-end systems level designers who are actively investigating, working, and testing fixes for this. But the systems tech is the hardest part of software design. It takes time. It takes a TON of investigation, testing, reworking, and more testing. They can't just pump out a systems-level fix over lunch.
There is a team of people who are their class designers. These people work on class design, class concepts, class balance, and all of that. They are the ones who keep putting up most of these hotfixes that we are receiving. The people who work on the characters are not the same people who work on the technical backend.
I keep saying this because they put out a defective product, you can keep your wall of text and calling me ignorant bullshit, this is a potential hardware destroying flaw, game should not have been released in this state at all, this problem should have been discovered long before release and the games been out for nearly a month, I'd say thats a fair amount of time.
This is exactly why you do extensive Q&A on your game before launch because this ones coop was obviously fucking busted at release (and still is) and its their responsibility that their product works in a passable way on day 1, that means not potentially bricking consoles by crashing their internal OS repeatedly, forcing hard resets.
Just like any work of fiction it can be good or bad regardless of what came before. It's not like the games really build off each other that much story wise anyway. They may as well all be reboots almost.
So I finally hit 50 on Amara and tried the Slaughter Shaft on Mayhem 1. Bad idea. The annointed make it basically impossible at my current damage level. I tried a bunch of builds (max DPS, max Survive) but nothing worked. I think I need to farm Traunt v1 for gear or else get used to the idea that the Shaft was not intended for solo play.

I wanna know how are they gonna tackle Vladof: future enemy or ally?
Enemy. Pseudo-Soviet accents. Ice planet with Kremlin-inspired and/or Soviet industrial buildings.
One or more quests aping the Chernobyl accident.
Count on it.

Slaughter Shaft is by far the hardest content in the game. I've soloed the other two and all of the trials at Mayhem 3, and had to drop to Mayhem 0 to beat SS.

What voodoo do you have to do to play offline? The 2009-product-in-2019 Epic launcher doesn't have an offline mode and keeps borking it.
I disable my ethernet adapter. Epic complains, but you can still launch the game. Anything that’s been client patched will be applied, anything that’s a hotfix won’t be (like the vastly nerfed drop rates).
Ive heard mixed reports that he is and they snuck a mini patch in but nobody is sure

Going insane farming Red Jabber. Really, really, really want a Hex of any sort. Farmed maybe two dozen legendary grenades over the past few days of the event, not a single Hex.

Oh I have one of those, fun little grenade. What are the other Legendaries that folks are clamoring for?

I really want another double money tracking grenade. It makes me so much cash it's hard to give it up (enemies drop cash based on their level, not your grenades) but its down to doing the same damage as my sniper rifle due to how low level it is.
I really wish that there was an epic level drop which was "make an item the same level as you. Some items really define the playstyle you want to have, like my old Maliwan shockwave shotgun, and the replacements are just never as fun.

Its more annoying because they're probably gonna give us ten or twelve new levels with the first dlc( and probably more with future dlc and skill trees) and you'll be starting at square one again for gear that doesn't have a designated drop monsters

If you did the VIP you can make a new character you will get the set of VIP reward items to your mailbox,, then switch over to your high level guy and open the mail and you should get yourself a nice higher level cash grenade.

Oh. Hm. I hadn't thought about that.
Maybe I should spend more time bringing other characters up and less time farming lvl 50s

Cool, I hope they did. I finally started playing with my friend and my brother. I also realized I still haven't played tales from the borderlands or the Lilith dlc for borderlands 2.
Trying to figure out how I want to build Zane and if it is worth having two activated abilities.

That's a good idea for replacing the cash grenade, but it would still be a really nice feature to have some way to bring a gun back to your level, like, I've never seen a shockwave style shotgun with this damage pattern again since this one dropped 15 levels ago (slow charge time, one shot, terrible accuracy, apocalyptic damage. I had a whole playstyle going where I'd sprint between enemies, start sliding, start charging, finish charge and then leap at the last second for absolute maximum velocity vector and shoot them in the head) and having it vs not having it totally changed the feeling of the game to me.

It is. You have lots of options with him. Drone / Clone is extremely viable and generally built around his kill skills, and there are some really good high movement speed builds that use one or both of those skills. There are some pretty compelling cryo builds out there that go deep into the shield tree for Calm, Cool, Collected at the very least. I've messed around with those since I have the guns (but not the shields/artifacts) for them and they're fun, different, and very solid.
The end talent in the Clone tree seems to be by far the most impactful, but you can put together some hybrid builds that don't go all the way to those capstones and find something that's fun for you. It's very possible to get near 100% uptime on your action skills.
He's probably *still* the weakest VH but they've brought him up to par pretty significantly, and he has legit build diversity + definitely the best flavor of this game's characters. Going to story mode on Amara is such a disappointment after my first playthrough on Zane.

Amara has a little bit of personality? She's alright, just that nobody holds a candle to Zane. Far and away the most entertaining and consistently amusing VH in this game and probably the entire series.
Yeah, Zane seems to be great. I do like some of Fl4K's stuff, "I have no blood, so I am taking yours." etc. Zane just seems so into the insanity while not losing focus.
Though haven't really heard Moze yet.

Let's say she is the Roland of BL3 from the 13 levels I've run with her. She comes out a little dull.

Game has always been Mad Max + The Warriors with Diablo-like loot system.
With references to other works like Dune (sandworms!) and Zardoz here and there. That's about it.

I dunno what y’all want for drop rates. Just all the legendaries in like an hour?
Anyways I got my queens call, so time to move on to farming something else, I guess.
I think people are rightly worried that they'll drop to BL2 levels of drops whwre you could farm for hours and not get anything
