It's the most wonderful time of the year!

If you don't know what Secret Saints is... Then you probably aren't eligible!

This is the place for those who can't afford to partake in Secret Satans. We live in late stage capitalism so it's very understandable!

Here's the skinny.

If you want to sign up to be a giver. PM me and let me know how many you want to give to and whether or not you want to remain anonymous.

You can choose to give to 1 person or all of the people or any number of people.
You are NOT OBLIGATED though. If something comes up and you can't give it's no problem, shit happens, just please let me know so I can rebalance the gifters and giftees.

No dollar amount minimum. You can spend nothing and send someone something you created. It's not about money it's about getting something to people who dont have much around Christmas time.

To be able to receive the only 3 rules are you can't do Secret Satan, you have to be known here or have someone who is known here vouch for you, and you must post when all gifts are received and GUSH about them.

If you want to sign up to receive, PM me and send me your mailing address, an Amazon wishlist, and any special information.

You're a forumer with kids? You can choose to ask for stuff for your kids, or your spouse.

Send me whatever you want me to know and I will do my best to accommodate.

This is it. The best time of the year. A chance to help out a few people get a little extra Christmas cheer!

The last addendum I will add... Please don't hesitate to sign up if you need to. Nobody is judging, it's not a competition about who is the worst off so don't feel like maybe you don't deserve anything... Everyone who signs up to give is giving because they want to. It's fun, it's awesome, and it's incredibly heartwarming every year. I live in MN... I need all of the extra warmth I can get!

Get those PMs to me, stat! I'll start divvying up names around mid November but there is no cutoff date although after... We'll say November 20th I can't guarantee you a gift. If you sign up after 11/20 I will do everything I can to find someone but matches will have gone out so it might not happen.

LET'S DO THIS!

so i'll be the first to ask to receive

i am in a lot better place than i was last year, but that unemployment hit, plus the general cost of needing surgeries every six months, seeing doctors, and living in seattle have me beyond strapped until pax south. i ain't got anything in way of family up this way, so i really need something to look forward to.

i am not really good at listing the things to get me? which is weird because you'd think i would be!

i have an amazon wish list, and there are tons of people you could poke to ask questions -- probably zonugal would be your best bet?

I'm going to be signing up for this. I've got a little nephew who it would be nice to get something. Or really getting something for my older brother and sister would be kind too. Going to think on what to post here and pm.
    Thanks for organizing Raijin!

Hey there! Once again it is I, Zonugal, signing up for this spectacular program that Raijin puts on for us. Usually finances are typically awful during this time of the year (due to how the substitute pay-system works, it’s on a 2 month delay, and with winter break I lose two weeks of work in December) but I start my student teaching in late November which means I get the supreme luxury of paying a university a ridiculous sum of money so I can work for two months unpaid! Wooo! Becoming a teacher is financially AWESOME!!! That said, I am also a very content person, so if I receive one old book in the mail I would be happy.

But if you don’t want to send me ancient tomes of knowledge, I have some other suggestions:

    Clothing/Fashion
-- I am a 5’11 tall individual who wears large t-shirts and collects very LOUD clothing. I like outrageous fashion choices, anything bold or eye-catching. If you can track down some monochromatic colored wool socks (red, blue, green, yellow, purple), that would be the coolest thing though.

    Food/Beverages
-- In terms of food, I enjoy it? This is probably a harder area for me just because I have severe acid reflux disease and lactose intolerance. I can’t drink coffee in any way, so avoid that if possible. But I also love any and all kitchen accessories! If you’re looking for a precise suggestion, a nice bed tray so I can eat in my room might be appreciated.

    Games
-- Regarding games, I enjoy board games and the occasional video game. I recently was able to save up enough money to buy a Switch, so Nintendo gift cards would let me load it up with some more games (I currently only have Super Smash Bros Ultimate). Physical games would also work. In terms of Switch games any of the ports/remasters of games from the 90's would go over pretty well. I also have a PS4! For board games, I really like anything. I have a huge collection at my house (25+) but could always use more. Some that I don’t own but would appreciate are: Settlers of Catan (I know, I know, shut up!), the Battlestar Galactica game, and/or Robo-Rally. In terms of table-top gaming, I really only play Dungeons & Dragons 5E. I have almost all of the source books except for Waterdeep: Dragon Heist. I’ve really wanted to delve deeper into Dungeon World though, so that would be a nice book/system to gift.

    Film/Television
While I still happily collect seasons of television on DVD (and always will), I’ve been transitioning to a digital collection via Amazon for film. So for films, an Amazon giftcard with a note of what films to buy would work well. For television, I’m a sucker for mystery shows (Murder, She Wrote!, Monk, Psych, ect…) and cartoons. I don’t own any of Avatar: the Last Airbender on DVD, which seems like a moral failing on my part.

    Music
I have recently been getting into collecting music CDs as my car doesn't have any way of playing music beyond them (and a radio). My favorite genres are Synth-Pop (I have Carpenter Brut's Trilogy, for example), 80's & 90’s Pop, and Classic Rock. Basically any awesome compilation of good music from any genre except country is going to go over well. One of my favorite artists is Giorgio Moroder, I’ve been getting into K-Pop (Sistar, Girls’ Generation, Twice, Fiestar, ect..) and I would love any album collection of a 90’s pop-band like Nysnc, Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, ect…

    Books
I like books! Nerd alert! My favorite genres are pulp/adventure and murder mysteries. I’m currently reading through Clive Cussler’s Dragon and recently finished Agatha Christie's the Murder of Roger Ackroyd, to give you a sense of my literary tastes. I also like comic books. From a moral position I have to request you send me no Marvel books while they still cater to Neo-Nazis, but for DC I have some favorite characters: Plastic Man, Batman, & Lex Luthor.

I think that’s basically everything, so thanks to anyone who sends me anything. If you want to know if I own something in particular or wonder if I would enjoy it, I elect @Rorshach Kringle as the appropriate arbiter to consult in these matters.

I am always grateful for this and especially to @Raijin Quickfoot for putting it on. Thanks!

    Sincerely,
    Zonugal

This year I'll be finishing my associates at the local community college, and I'll just have enough to pay rent, food and semester costs. Will be digging out some meager retirement savings to try and pay for some of my third year, but I will probably be trying to re-enter the workforce after being unemployed from 2018.
With some savings I'm not completely broke, but I don't have any wiggle room for doing any gifting to my family.

I can't really afford gifts for the people I care about this holiday season, so I appreciate the opportunity of Secret Saints!
I think my family would love handmade gifts, and I have no expectations on scale of the gifting.

    Amazon Wishlist is
    https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/361YSXDYFJ07Q?ref_=wl_share
I'm going to list some family members who I'd like to show some holiday spirit and love, and some gift ideas I would like to seek out for them. I'll be seeing them this Christmas

I have a older sister with disabilities. She has trouble doing some simple things like reading books or enjoying movies, or walking down stairs.
She loves 90's pop and R&B, and working on coloring books, She used to read cheesy christian romance novellas and is big on christian music and media. She wears a lot of pink, and feminine clothing, but doesn't have a lot of accessories. She lives in a fairly rural region in Kentucky with our parents and walks around the yard and to neighbor houses for exercise and socializing. She has a old medium sized dog as a pet.
I would love to get her a new coloring book or a pretty scarf help keep her warm. In the summer a size small Sun Hat might be a fantastic gift. I think she would like Poetry too. Or soft Bones and or Treats for her dog might also be a great gift.

I am an uncle to a young adopted 3 year npehew, and a less than 1 year old adopted baby girl .

My nephew loves Paw Patrol, Playing Basketball with his dad, and running around the house with toy cars and Thomas the Train engine toys. Like many a young kid, he's super into spiderman and the avengers. How rad would an Spiderman illustration be for the little guy? He spends time co-creating bedtime stories with his mom and dad. He's in the getting stitches from catapulting themselves off the couch stage of life.

Gifts for my niece's Parents would also be a nice gift as an uncle.
my niece spends her day resting swaddled in shifts in my brother and my sister-in-law's arms, while they voraciously read books.

My sister-in-law is an amazing public high school English teacher in Kentucky, who's been involved in protests in Lexington for Kentucky Teachers. She loves to listen to Podcasts about unsolved crime stories, and reading mysteries and thrillers. She's a christian liberal feminist, maybe socialist, who is always burning fancy smelling candles when I visit.
I have no idea what's a good mystery or thriller novel, or anything in that genre. If ya have a good book recommendation, I bet she would enjoy reading it. She likes listening to musicals, from Wicked to Hamilton with the kids while in the car. I bet she would like Hadestown.

My oldest Brother has provided me with a ton of emotional support.
He's a liberal christian conservative, who can be a bit spooked and turned off by spirits and demons in media,
He loves KY wildcats, listening to podcasts such as "How I Built This", and follows sports and politics.
My brother has read and enjoyed a lot of hard science fiction, but hasn't read a lot of the more recent books that have come out.
I think a new sci-fi book for him to read while spending a midnight shift with niece, would be a great gift if you have a good idea of one. I think Children of Time, or Wayfarers Series by Becky Chamber would be a good fit.

My other older brother, loves anime and ff14. I think some anime posters or scrolls would be nice to set up in his place. He'd probably like a nice 2x bath robe.
Thank you so much for reading this post and deciding on gifting. Secret Saints is fantastic source of cheer every year.

These things are all guide posts, if you know of an awesome thing, or have an idea for a project, I'd be thankful. Have a great day!

I'm kind of torn on this. I kind of want to sign up because well...im broke as hell for the holidays. Just enough money to take care of the kids but not enough for anything else.

But I also run it and I feel like that might be unfair.

So I'm not going to assign myself to anyone. I'm just going to post my wishlist here and if someone wants to... Well it's here. I'm expecting NOTHING. Please nobody feel obligated or anything. I just don't want to give up running this to take part and I don't see any way to do both.

    https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/35R08M896L4CA?ref_=wl_share

So yeah. Don't get me anything until after other people have been bought for please. I would like to be bottom priority!

As always, I love all of you who spend money to spread holiday cheer every year! You're the best.

@Raijin Quickfoot I understand what you are saying here I really do. But I’m gonna have to turn off tact here for a moment.

    Ahem.

Quit being like that right now. Put yourself in the damn Saints event for real. You’ve made sure this has happened year after year so people could give a good holiday to those that might not otherwise get one, and now when you actually use that very thing you are going to act like you don’t deserve it? I call bs. You are absolutely just as deserving as anyone else to have a good holiday. So put yourself in for it you silly goose, assign me you as well even if you can’t bring yourself to fully put yourself in. Don’t your dare protest, don’t make me just go in and start buying up your wishlist because I will absolutely do it.

Whew... ok everything went red there a moment. Much love.

    EDIT:

Also you are a stupid jerk because your list doesn’t give an option to ship to your address so you’ve managed to still thwart me unless I send it all to my house and then hunt you down like an FFXII mark.

Hey guys it's me Munkus, I am still disabled and still very much just scraping by. I am going to try and find some kind of part time work that I can do so I can get out of my parents home and have some semblence of privacy, so funds are going to be particularly tight in the coming months. Of course, this is assuming that I can even find a job that can work around my health schedule so....who knows! My parents really don't want me living here any more and I would like some privacy from them.

As for a Christmas list...well, one thing I have always, always wanted was a Sliver EDH (Commander) Deck. I am missing some key components, namely the deck's commander (Sliver Overlord) but a general idea of what goes into a sliver commander deck can be found here: https://edhrec.com/commanders/sliver-overlord

Though if you ask me I can help narrow down what cards I need quite a bit, specifically I already have the following cards for it:
    Metallic Sliver
    Heart Sliver
    Pulmonic Sliver
    Fungus Sliver
    Root Sliver
    Harmonic Sliver
    Winged Sliver
    Chromatic Lantern
    Sliver Queen
    Synapse Sliver
    Crystalline Sliver
    Ward Sliver
    Coat of Arms
    Terramorphic Expanse
    Sidewinder Sliver
    Gemhide sliver
    Muscle Sliver
    Essence Sliver
    Plated Sliver
    Shifting Sliver
    Quick Sliver
    Galerider Sliver
    Call of the Wild
    Rampant Growth
    Heartstone
    Unnatural Selection
    lightning greaves
    Illusionist's Bracers
    Mizzium Mortars
    Bloodstained Mire
    Transguild Promenade
    Godless Shrine
    Steam Vents
    Sacred Foundry
    Overgrown Tomb
    Temple of Deceit
    Blood Crypt
    Isolated Chapel
    Woodland Cemetary

I'm just finding some of these cards, a number got misplaced the last time I was in the hospital and the room got 'cleaned up' with cards being put in any old random place. I do love magic cards, Nekusar the Mindraiser is the other deck I'd like to make one day, but like, building a sliver commander deck has basically been a dream of mine since I was a little kid...when I first heard about the commander format, all I could think about was "One day I'll make myself a sliver deck. One day."

I am also down for books of all kinds, I own an older PC, a PS4, and a switch. I like action games, strategy games, puzzle games, action RPG type games, and generally hate open world games. I have steam and an epic store account, though the wishlist on steam is kinda old. I've kinda been interested in Untitled Goose Game. Other games that have caught my eye are Axiom Verge, Hollow Knight, Katana Zero, and Blasphemous.

Oh, I also own a PSP and a 3DS. In fact, I've recently realized that I have never played Peace Walker and since I love the metal gear games I would really love a copy of that to play.

One last thing, I've always wanted to learn Japanese and while I tried to last year with Duolingo, that didn't really pan out since it lacked much of a lesson plan or guidance, which I really need in order to get started. Any help on a resource or book to get me started with that would be much appreciated. Thanks, Satan!

@Munkus Beaver if you don’t mind, if you could PM me a list of what you still need for it this is a very specific thing that I’m uniquely suited to help out with as I play CEDH and probably have a lot of the things you might need.
