If chaos gets primaris marines it'll be something they stole. You can convert old marines with a high fatality rate so
Bile has figured out how to grow new marines and the various organs needed for them I know that was a lore point from about 15+ years ago in the CSM codex of that era

It'll turn out he stole geneseed from the Grey Knights, which is to say the Emperor.
I think he is using the gene seed tithe to build the primaris but I think this is how he got the traitor stock since they had the codes for that somewhere....
Since in the space marine book and the primaris one it mentions he only knows how to make half of the the Immortis Gland which was one of the parts for the primarichs so that may be the reason
Because everyone knows it's impossible for a Primarch to fall to chaos

Let's not forget that Bile also basically a legion or more worth of geneseed that is untainted from the Horus Heresy.

The EC already were largest legion though mostly not ordered around anyone since Fulgrim is off having snake orgies. But basically if they wanted there can be full legions worth of untainted perfect EC flooding out of the Eye.
Bile still is the best apothecary out there and still can do that job flawlessly.

They got killed a lot. At least from my understanding. The EC were one of the smaller ones but got out nearly untouched.
But broke up into pieces pretty fast.
They spent most of the Siege of Terra attacking the civilian populace instead of the Imperial Palace, I remember that bit from some of the earliest lore. Gonna be pretty grim when the book series gets to that part.
I'm definitely looking forwards to what Bile gets up to in this brave new era of the story roaring forwards more than ever before. Bile cloned flawless versions of Ferrus Manus, all the elements necessary to well and truly bring him back are there, and maybe other 'dead' primarchs too (besides Horus, he's history for sure). Just gotta find the right moment.

He has been able to make a perfect replica of Horus but it had no soul since Horus's soul was burned out of existence by the Emperor. He also has made a perfect pre-fall version of Fulgrim who has Fulgrim's memories and abilities up to a point who he traded to the Necron zoo keeper for the lost tithe which is like 100,000+ marines worth of geneseed for the EC which is all untainted as if it was straight from the pre-Heresy period.
Looks like another weekend of Marines sweeping the top tables at tournaments. Strong showings from Iron Hands, Fists, Raven Guard, White Scars, and (possibly surprisingly) Blood Angels.
Sigh the new Necromunda is next week but oddly they have waterslide graffiti

The ‘other hive’ is a historical scenario, where the actual boxed game is set with the larger than normal gangs representing the final days before the Enforcers were evac’d and the hive was opened to the atmosphere. The ‘present day’ has the corpsegrinder cult, once thought dead and buried in the ash wastes, on the rise again in multiple hives, including Primus. The Book of Ruin also has rules for cult-ifying your regular gangs as well as the final printed form of the genestealer and chaos cult gangs.

I thought the Corpegrinder is a guild/cult. I do like how they are fleshing out the culture of the hive/world past the gangs but I am annoyed by the specialist tag they placed on the off games
It does have a lot but a nearly 300 starter that's questionable Blood of The Phoenix was also as questionable
But sadly a lot of the pro price comments I have seen are the argument I hate about this game. The anti poor comments. I heard them when I first started when I played 40k last and now again. How it's a game for the middle class or such not for the poor. When I playing with my black templars I told someone the space marine megaforce was a damn good deal [the one with the dread and land raider} When they asked how was a cheap and fast way to get into the hobby. While he was looking at the box and asking me questions about it. Someone pointed out how 40k is not for the casual worker it's for those in professional jobs giving me a stick eye {I was wearing my BDUs}

Dumbass hobby gatekeepers are always going to find something to be a dumbass gatekeeper about.
I think the pricepoint of the box is pretty steep, but it's still an adequate deal for what you get. It's just not a spectacular deal like some of the earlier sets were. Pricing like this, and the leak on the Sister's box makes me think that they want more profit out of the sets than what they qere getting before.
Whether they've accurately judged higher profit per box vs lower.total sales I guess remains to be seen.
Somebody really needs to walk the GW leadership through the concept of "Loss Leaders" in pricing.
Get people started with cheap, generalist starter boxes, then make up the difference in prices on the more specialized units once we're hooked.

Box with a 10 rack of boys: 50 bucks
Box with one warboss: 50 bucks
Box with special character: 75 bucks
It's not that hard, we already get that it's a pay to play system this just further cements it and conveniently I need to buy 3 boyz boxes to even have a worthwhile unit. Seriously with pricing like this I could convince way more people to buy into table top war gaming just for the social aspect. Bu that I just mean the pricing model the numbers are pulled totally out of the blue I haven't had to buy a box in years.

Finishing 2019 with a quadruple punch of Blood of the Phoenix, Necromunda, Sisters and the Christmas battleforces all being expensive is utterly wild.
They've been leaked. $170 for the Chaos, Space Wolves and T'au ones, $185 for Drukhari, Blood Angels and Tyranids.
That's not bad as I did post the breakdown earlier if you bought the armies the chaos is the worst deal if it's 170 {it costs 190 normally for what they showed}

The ender 3 is a fantastic starter filament printer, which is good for bigger less detailed stuff like terrain
The anycubic photon has had awesome reviews for smaller more detailed resin minis.
Both are the same price or less than that necromunda box.
The cost per piece of terrain is pennies on a filament printer like the ender 3 and a buck or so for a resin printer.
