Call it Movember if you want but to me it will always be Novembeard. Now, I keep a beard year round (haven't seen my chin in years) so I don't shave down to the skin and let it grow. I'm starting with this
Share some beard of you got it! Share some mustache if that's your thing!
No facial hair! No problem! Share that naked chin! There's no beard shaming here!

Beard time, you say?

This is what I look like after I trim my beard a bit.
It's a little long in the tooth right now, probably should shear it down again.

Kind of reminds me of the ice bucket challenge for ALS. Half of the companies or people doing the challenge didn't even know what ALS stood for, and were only doing it because "huh huh, I tag this person/company to do it, now you have to post evidence on youtube or forever be labelled a non-participant who doesn't donate to charities, you heartless bastards."
Also, youtube infamy.
No one does it anymore though. It's not even an annually donated thing like the thousands of other charities, except under it's more commonly known name, Lou Gherig's Disease.

I've given up on the message of Movember a long time ago. I just stick to Novembeard because it's fun.
I mean... I have a beard year round anyway.

I think one of the problems was that it started as a way to get folks with prostates to start getting colonoscopies, and then the data supporting increased survival with earlier colonoscopies fell apart and never really came back together.
I'm all about celebrating majestic beards, though.
The movember guys have almost pivoted it to men's mental health, which is good, I guess, but everything I read about it is vague enough I cannot figure out what they actually do

At this point I don't think I've really gone without a beard of some kind in about uh...ten or eleven years.
I used to shave periodically but I have long since just went to trimming it on occasion, and if I happen to dress up for halloween I go full on Wolverine Muttonchops.

no shave november? more like no shave last ten years!
there's a lot more grey in my business than there was in the last one of these threads
I am jealous of that beard, and the fact that your cat seems to enjoy being held like that and doesn't appear to be struggling to be put down.
all my cats do that! they love huggin'
We have two cats. One we got as a kitten and she was used to being picked up, she doesn't mind it at all.
My black cat was a rescue, we think she might have been a stray for about a year before we adopted her. She loves her cuddle time with me, but doesn't like being picked up for it. She'll just headbutt me as I sit at a table or on the couch. If I pick her up or try to flip her on her back, she'll fight to roll over and jump down.

Gonna peep all these beards.
Gonna harness the power of these beards.
For evil.
Just go full grey fox.
Become a cyborg, robot ninja?
I mean, if they're offering.
Ah, it's the Beard-Hunter. Escaped from the Doom Patrol?
About to trim it down so here goes.
And I don't want to shave my face bare
Agree. It's supposed to be about prostate cancer awareness but hell no one talks about it and everyone I've ever known who got it is dead.

I'm honestly convinced if I shave it off I will die or also never have sex again.
Oh sure when a Mantis does it's normal but when I do it I'm suddenly the weird one.
Here's what a month of growth looks like on me. I'm shaving tonight, also due for a haircut.

That's a very personal question.

Yes, the grey/white hairs keep multiplying from previous years...
Also, pulled this from the last Movember thread I posted in (which was two years ago, but the links still work):
And remember, Gents, to check your meat and two vegs and Moooooon Riivvvveerrrr...
